CULTUREԱշխարհահռչակ ռոք երաժիշտ, System of a Down խմբի մեներգիչ Սերժ Թանկյանը պրեմիերային ընդառաջ գրառում է կատարել Սպիտակի կործանարար երկրաշարժի մասին պատմող համանուն ֆիլմի մասին:
«1988-ին Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած ավերիչ երկրաշարժի հետցնցումները զգացվել են ողջ աշխարհում: Ես ներգրավվեցի 25 000 մարդու կյանք խլած երկրաշարժից հետո վերականգնմանն ու վերակառուցմանն ուղղված համաշխարհային ջանքերին: Մեզանից շատերն այստեղ՝ Լոս Անջելեսում, արեցին ամենը, ինչ կարող էին օգնելու համար:
Հիշում եմ՝ ինչպես էի ընկերներիս հետ դռնից դուռ գնում՝ օգնություն խնդրելով կարիքավորների համար: Շուրջ 30 տարի անց ես՝ որպես «Սպիտակ» ֆիլմի կոմպոզիտոր, հպարտ եմ, որ Հայաստանն այս ֆիլմն է ընտրել ներկայացնելու 91-րդ «Օսկար» մրցանակաբաշխությանը», - գրել է Թանկյանը:
Երաժիշտը հավելել է, որ ռուս ռեժիսոր Ալեքսանդր Կոտտի ֆիլմի պրեմիերան Ռուսաստանի կինոթատրոններում կկայանա նոյեմբերի 29-ին, որից հետո մեկշաբաթյա ցուցադրություններ կլինեն Լոս Անջելեսում սկսած դեկտեմբերի 7-ից:
Նշենք, որ «Օսկարի» հավակնորդները հայտնի կդառնան 2019 թվականի հունվարի 22-ին, իսկ մրցանակաբաշխությունը տեղի կունենա փետրվարի 24-ին:
