Այսօր մամուլում հրապարակում կար այն մասին, որ Արգամ Աբրահամյանը աջակցում է «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքի ցուցակով Արարատի մարզից առաջադրված ռեյտինգային պատգամավորի թեկնածու, անկուսակցական Ռոման Մուրադյանին:

Հրապարակման շուրջ փորձեցինք մեկնաբանություն ստանալ անձամբ Ռոման Մուրադյանից։ Մեզ հետ զրույցում Մուրադյանը հերքեց մամուլում տեղ գտած տեղեկությունները, նա մասնավորապես ասաց․

«Չեմ հասցրել ծանոթանալ մամուլի հրապարակումներին, քանի որ ակտիվ քարոզչական աշխատանքների մեջ եմ և գրեթե ժամանակ չունեմ այլ հարցերով զբաղվելու: Ինձ համար, սակայն կասկածելի է լուրի ենթադրությունների հիմքը, որը փորձում են ներկայացնել, որպես փաստ: Բայց ինչ որ իմաստով նաև հասկանալի է, քանի որ մարզում՝ ի զարմանս շատերի, ես կարողացա հազարավոր աջակիցներ գտնել ու երևի որոշ մարդկանց համար անհասկանալի է, թե ինչպես է դա ինձ հաջողվել:

Բացատրեմ մտահոգվածներին՝ ես, ի տարբերություն հովանավոր փնտրողների, աշխատում եմ ընտրողների հետ, շատ լավ եմ պատկերացնում մարզի խնդիրները և հանդիպումների ընթացքում առաջարկում եմ լուծումներ: Մարդիկ հավատում են ինձ և իմ ծրագրերին, նրանք հավատում են մեր թիմին: Լուրի հեղինակներին խորհուդ կտամ լավ ուսումնասիրել ցուցակները և նրանք կտեսնեն, որ մարզում՝ ԲՀԿ ցուցակով թեկնածու է առաջադրված Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի բարեկամուհի Կարինե Պողոսյանը,  ուստի անիմաստ է այլ տեղեր փնտրել չեղած բաներ»:
