Մենք գիտենք, որ...

Աշխարհի ամենացուրտ ջերմաստիճանը գրանցվել է Անտարկտիդայում. 1983 թվականին «Վոստոկ» ռուսական կայանում արձանագրվել է –89օ C ջերմաստիճան, իսկ 1892 թվականին հյուսիսային կիսագնդում՝ Յակուտիայի Վերխոյանսկ տարածքում արձանագրվել է –67օ C:

Իրականում այդպես չէ:

Ամենացածր ջերմաստիճան գրանցվել է Ֆինլանդիայում: 2000 թվականին Հելսինկիի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտում գիտնականները ռոդիումի կտորը սառեցրել են մինչև գրեթե բացարձակ զրոյին հավասար ջերմաստիճանի (–273.15օ С): Երկրորդ տեղում ԱՄՆ–ի Մասաչուսեթսի տեխնոլոգիական ինստիտուտն է: 2003 թվականին Վոլֆանգ Կետտերլին և նրա թիմին հաջողվեց ստանալ նատրիումի գազի բացարձակ զրոյին մոտ գտնվող կոնդենսատ: Սա կոչվեց Բոզե–Էյնշտեյնի կոնդենսատ: Հարցն այն է, որ այս կոնդենսատը հանդիսանում էր նյութի նոր ագրեգատային վիճակ, այսինքն՝ այդ նյութը գոյություն ուներ միայն այդ ջերմաստիճանի պայմաններում: Այս հայտնագործությունը այնքան կարևոր էր, որ դրա համար Կետտերլն անգամ Նոբելյան մրցանակ ստացավ: Հարցն այն է, որ անգամ Արեգակնային համակարգից դուրս՝ խորը տիեզերքում, ջերմաստիճանը չի իջնում –245օ С–ից: Միակ հայտնի բացառությունը Բումերանգի միգամածությունն է (այն իր տեսքով իրոք բումերանգի նման է), որի կենտրոնում գտնվում է Արեգակից երեք անգամ ավելի մեծ մեռնող աստղ: Վերջին 1500 տարիների ընթացքում այս միգամածությունից 500 000 կմ/ժամ արագության քամի է փչում, և այնտեղ ինչպես սառչում է մեր արտաշնչած օդը, այնպես էլ սառչում է միգամածությունից դուրս հորդող գազը՝ հասցնելով սառչել մինչև –271 օ С: Սա արձանագրված բնական ամենացածր ջերմաստիճանն է տիեզերքում, այսինքն՝ ստացվում է, որ Ֆինլանդիայում գտնվող լաբորատորիայում արձանագրված ցածր ջերմաստիճանը տիեզերքի ներկայումս հայտնի ռեկորդակիրն է: Արեգակնային համակարգում արձանագրված բնական ամենացածր ջերմաստիճանը եղել է –235օ С և արձանագրվել է 1989 թվականին «Վոյաջեր 2» տիեզերական սարքի միջոցով Նեպտուն մոլորակի Տրիտոն արբանյակի մակերևույթին:

Կարող է թվալ, թե ոչ մի օգուտ չեն կարող բերել հետազոտությունները ցածր ջերմաստիճանների բնագավառում, բայց սրանք խիստ կարևոր են, քանի որ գերցածր ջերմաստիճաններում նյութերը ձեռք են բերում գերհաղորդականություն, այսինքն՝ ստացվում է զրոյական էլեկտրահաղորդման դիմադրություն: Եթե ստացվեն գերհաղորդիչներ, կլինեն բազմակի ավելի հզոր համակարգիչներ, զգալի կպակասի էլեկտրաէներգիայի գինը, կլինեն համարյա թե առանց վառելիքի աշխատող մեքենաներ և այլն:

Ի դեպ, Հայաստանի ամենացուրտ վայրը Լոռու և Շիրակի մարզերի սահմանագլխին գտնվող Պաղակն լեռնագագաթն է (նվազագույն ջերմաստիճանը՝ –42օ C) : Երևի թե այդ լեռան մոտակայքում ապրող մարդիկ էլ են էսկիմոսների պես սառնարան գնում, որ ձմեռները սննդամթերքը պահպանեն գերսառեցումից:
