ՄԱԿ-ը պատրաստ է աջակցել ցանկացած որոշման իրագործմանը, որը նոյեմբերի 14-ին կընդունվի Վիեննայում Սիրիայի խնդրի շուրջ կայանալիք հանդիպմանը: Այդ մասին, նոյեմբերի 10-ին լրագրողներին հայտնել է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի՝ Սիրիայի խնդրով հատուկ պատվիրակ Ստաֆան դե Միստուրան:

«Նոյեմբերի 14-ին տեղի կունենա հաջորդ նախարարական հանդիպումը Վիեննայում»,- ասել է դիվանագետը, նշելով, որ առաջիկա ժամերին ինքը Նյու Յորքից կուղեւորվի Ավստրիայի մայրաքաղաք:

Նրա խոսքով՝ ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի նոյեմբերի 10-ի փակ խորհրդակցության ընթացքում ինքը տեղեկացրել է հոկտեմբերի վերջին Վիեննայում կայացած առաջին հանդիպման արդյունքների մասին, քանի որ ԱԽ-ի ոչ բոլոր անդամներն են դրան մասնակցել: «Ես հասկանալ տվեցի, որ ՄԱԿ-ը պատրաստ է աջակցել ցանկացած որոշման, որը կընդունվի Վիեննայում»,- ասել է դե Միստուրան:

Սպասվում է, որ Վիեննայի առաջիկա բանակցություններին կմասնակցեն Ռուսաստանի, Իրանի, Չինաստանի, Սաուդյան Արաբիայի, ԱՄՆ-ի, Թուրքիայի, Ֆրանսիայի պատվիրակությունները, որոնք մասնակցել են առաջին հանդիպմանը, ինչպես նաեւ ՄԱԿ-ը՝ ի դեմս գլխավոր քարտուղարի հատուկ պատվիրակի, եւ ԵՄ-ի արտաքին գործերի եւ անվտանգության քաղաքականության գերագույն ներկայացուցիչ Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինին: Նրանց կմիանան Արաբական պետությունների լիգայի եւ Իսլամական համագործակցության կազմակերպության ներկայացուցիչները, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
