SOCIETYԴեկտեմբերի 4-ին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի պաշտոնակատար Դավիթ Տոնոյանն ընդունել է ՀՀ-ում Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ջուդիթ Մարգարետ Ֆարնուորթին և Եվրոպայի Խորհրդի երևանյան գրասենյակի ղեկավար Նատալիա Վուտովային:
ՊՆ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից հայտնում են, որ հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են Միացյալ Թագավորության հովանավորությամբ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի կողմից իրականացվող «Զինված ուժերում մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական չափանիշների կիրառման ամրապնդումը Հայաստանում» ծրագրի ընթացքն ու զարգացման հեռանկարները:
ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի պաշտոնակատարը դրական է գնահատել կատարված աշխատանքը և հույս հայտնել, որ համագործակցությունը շարունակական բնույթ կկրի: Դավիթ Տոնոյանը նշել է, որ անհրաժեշտ է ուշադրությունը կենտրոնացնել զինված ուժերում մարդու իրավունքների վերաբերյալ կրթական ծրագրերի կատարելագործման և մեթոդաբանության ամրապնդման հարցերի վրա, ինչպես նաև հիմք ընդունելով «համազգեստով քաղաքացի» հայեցակարգը՝ քայլեր ձեռնարկել զինծառայողների քաղաքական իրավունքների իրազեկվածության բարձրացման ուղղությամբ:
Կարևորվել է ՀՀ ՊՆ մարդու իրավունքների և բարեվարքության կենտրոնին փորձագիտական օժանդակության տրամադրումը, այդ թվում նաև՝ պաշտպանական ոլորտը կանոնակարգող օրենսդրական նախաձեռնությունների սոցիալական ազդեցության գնահատման կարողությունների զարգացման մասով:
Զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են «Մուրադյանն ընդդեմ Հայաստանի» ՄԻԵԴ-ի վճռի կատարման հարցում ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությանը փորձագիտական օժանդակության տրամադրման անհրաժեշտությանը:
Որպես մարդու իրավունքներին առնչվող խնդիր` պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը հյուրերին ներկայացրել է նաև 2018թ. հունիսին հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանը հատած ՀՀ քաղաքացի Կարեն Ղազարյանի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակի մանրամասները:
