POLITICSԲրիտանական BBC-ն անդրադարձ է կատարել Հայաստանում դեկտեմբերի 9-ին կայանալիք արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած թավշյա հեղափոխության առաջնորդ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին կարևոր քննություն է սպասվում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հոդվածագիրը նշում է, որ «Հայաստանում ապրիլին տեղի ունեցած թավշյա հեղափոխության հետևում կանգնած մարդուն կիրակի լուրջ փորձություն է սպասվում արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների տեսքով: «Նախկին լրագրող, այնուհետև քաղաքական գործիչ դարձած 43-ամյա Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը իրականություն դարձրեց իշխանության խաղաղ փոխանցումը և տնտեսության տրանսֆորմացիայի հույսեր արթնացրեց: Ցույցերի օրերին փողոց դուրս եկած տասնյակ հազարավոր քաղաքացիներին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի տված ամենակարևոր խոստումներից մեկը Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարական խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ անցկացնելն է: Նա դեռևս շատ մեծ ժողովրդականություն է վայելում, և որևէ մեկը կասկած չունի, որ նրա ղեկավարած «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքն առաջատարն է ընտրություններին մասնակցող 11 քաղաքական ուժերի մեջ»,- ասված է հոդվածում:
