«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրության հիմնական արդյունքի հարցում որևէ անակնկալ չեղավ. իշխող ուժը՝ «Իմ քայլը» դաշինքը, հաղթեց ու ստացավ ձայների մեծամասնությունը: Ընտրությունների թերևս միակ ինտրիգը ՀՀԿ–ի անցնել–չանցնելն էր: Բայց մեծ հաշվով, դա, այսպես ասած, խորհրդանշական ինտրիգ էր: Իրականում կանցներ ՀՀԿ–ն, թե ոչ, որևէ բան չէր փոխելու: 

Հասարակության մեծամասնությունը վերահաստատեց իր համակրանքը փոփոխությունների հանդեպ ու դա արտահայտեց հեղափոխության թիմին ու հեղափոխության աջակիցներին ձայն տալով: Սա նշանակում է, որ մենք մտնում ենք ամենաբարդ փուլ, մի փուլ, երբ հեղափոխությունը հաղթահարել է իր բոլոր արտաքին վտանգները, սպառնալիքները ու հիմա արդեն նոր որակի պատասխանատվության առջև է կանգնած: Մեծ հաշվով, ՀՀԿ չանցնելը ավելի է բյուրեղացնում իշխանություններին սպասվող նոր պատասխանատվության չափաբաժինը՝ դաշտն ազատելով կեղծ օրակարգերից ու կեղծ հակադրություններից:

Իսկ հակադրությունները թե՛ Փաշինյանի ողջ քաղաքական հետագծում, թե՛ հեղափոխության վերջին ամիսներին եղել են ընթացիկ պրոցեսների հիմնական բովանդակությունը: Այժմ, երբ չկան այլևս այդ հակադրությունները, և հասարակությունն էլ վերստին, այս անգամ արդեն պաշտոնապես վերահաստատել է իր աջակցությունը հեղափոխությանը, իշխանությունը հակադրության ոճից անցում պետք է կատարի ստեղծագործականության ոճի: Կամ ֆուտբոլային լեզվով ասած՝ պետք է սկսի խաղալ առաջին համարով:

Միևնույն ժամանակ ընտրություններին մասնակից մի շարք ուժեր, որոնք ևս ներկայանում էին որպես հեղափոխական ու հեղափոխության աջակից, չստացան այնքան ձայներ, որ բեկեին ընտրության վերջնական արդյունքը, կամ կարողանային խոչընդոտել իշխող թիմի մեծամասնություն լինելուն: Հասարակությունն իր հստակ, պարզ վարքագծով ցույց տվեց, որ շարունակում է հավատարիմ մնալ մեծ փոփոխությունների գաղափարին ու դրա իրագործման դերակատար տեսնում է հեղափոխության հիմնական թիմին:
