 2018 թվականի մայիսի 10-ից հետո Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած իրադարձությունները նոր էջ բացեցին ՀՀ ազգային անվտանգության ծառայությունում: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց ՀՀ ԱԱԾ տնօրեն Արթուր Վանեցյանը:

«Այսօր Ազգային անվտանգության ծառայության տնօրենը մշտապես հրապարակային ելույթներ է ունենում, հանդիպում է լրագրողների հետ: Կարծում եմ, որ դա շարունակական է լինելու: Երբ ես առաջին անգամ հանդիպեցի ԶԼՄ ներկայացուցիչների հետ, իմ ավագ գործընկերները դեմ էին դրան, բայց հանդիպումը կարծում եմ, որ տվեց իր դրական արդյունքները: Այսօր կրկին մեծ սիրով հանդիպում եմ լրատվամիջոցների հետ, որպեսզի ներկայացնեմ մեր կատարած աշխատանքը»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ ասաց ԱԱԾ տնօրեն Արթուր Վանեցյանը:

Անդրադառնալով իր պաշտոնավարման հետ կապված լրագրողների հարցին՝ Արթուր Վանեցյանը նշեց, որ ինքը շարունակում է աշխատել, որպես ԱԱԾ տնօրեն:

«Երբ լրացավ իմ 20 տարեկանը, ես ընդունվեցի ԱԱԾ համակարգ աշխատանքի: Շատ հպարտանում եմ իմ աշխատանքով, շատ պատասխանատվությամբ եմ մոտեցել իմ գործունեությանը: Ինձ համար հպարտություն է ղեկավարել այս կառույցը, որտեղ սկսել եմ աշխատել 20 տարի առաջ: Եղել են բազմաթիվ փոփոխություններ, բարեփոխումներ, ծառայությունը փոխել է իր դեմքը, փոխվել է հասարակության վերաբերմունքը մեր կառույցի նկատմամբ: Այդ ամենը կարողացել եմ իմ գործընկերների հետ անել: Հուսով եմ, որ դեռ կշարունակեմ պաշտոնավարել որպես ծառայության տնօրեն և իմ ծառայությունով օգուտ բերել Հայաստանին: Ինձ հետ ոչ ոք չի խոսել իմ աշխատանքի փոփոխության հետ կապված, որևէ առաջարկ քաղաքական ղեկավարության, մասնավորապես Նիկոլ Փաշինյանից չեմ ստացել և ես շարունակում եմ իմ գործունեությունը որպես ԱԱԾ տնօրեն»,-ասաց Արթուր Վանեցյանը:
