Ամերիկյան The National Interest վերլուծական պարբերականը նշել է այն տարածաշրջանները, որտեղ 2019 թվականին կարող է սկսվել երրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմը, հայտնում է RT-ն:

Դրանց թվում են Հարավ-Չինական ծովը: Հոդվածի հեղինակ Ռոբերտ Ֆարլիի կարծիքով ԱՄՆ-ի եւ Չինաստանի հարաբերությունների վատթարացումից կախված նրանց կոնֆլիկտը կարող է դուրս գալ  տնտեսական պատժամիջոցների եւ սակագների մասին վեճերի շրջանակից:

Լրագրողը պատերազմ սկսվելու մյուս հավանական վայրն է համարում Ուկրաինան՝ հիշատակելով Կերչի նեղուցում վերջերս տեղի ունեցած միջադեպը: Ընդ որում՝ նա կարծում է, որ Ռուսաստանը հազիվ թե շահագրգռված լինի Ուկրաինայի նախագահական ընտրություններից առաջ «ստատուս քվոյի խախտմամբ»:

«Հաշվի առնելով Ռուսաստանի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի միջեւ պահպանվող լարվածությունը՝ նույնիսկ փոքր ցնցումը կարող է խախտել փխրուն հաշվեկշիռը, որը պահպանվում է վերջին մի քանի տարիներին, եւ Արեւելյան Եվրոպան նետել քաոսի մեջ»,- նախազգուշացնում է Ֆարլին:

Երրորդ «թեժ» տրածաշրջանը Պարսից ծոցն է, որտեղ լարվածությունն աճում է Իրանի վրա ԱՄՆ տնտեսական ճնշման, Եմենում եւ Սիրիայում հակամարտությունների պատճառով:

Ըստ նրա՝ չորրորդ օջախը նախկինի պես Կորեական թերակղզին է, չնայած Միացյալ Նահանգների եւ Հյուսիսային Կորեայի քայլերին:

Ֆարլին նշում է, որ «թեժ կետեր» կարող են առաջանալ նաեւ այլ պետություններում: Նրա կարծիքով՝ մոտ ապագայում, հավանաբար, ավելի վտանգավոր կլինի, քան ոչ վաղ անցյալում:
