INTERNATIONAL NEWSՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիու Գուտերեշն ամանորյա իր ուղերձում կոչ է արել համաշխարհային հանրությանը համագործակցել մարդկության գոյությանը սպառնացող վտանգների դեմ պայքարում, հաղորդում է «Գոլոս Ամերիկի»-ն:
Գուտերեշը մաղթել է Երկիր մոլորակի բնակիչների երջանկություն, խաղաղություն եւ բարգավաճում գալիք տարում: Դրա հետ մեկնեղ, նա զգուշացրել է մարդկությանը բազմաթիվ ճգնաժամային իրավիճակների եւ ռիսկերի մասին, որոնք սպառնում են ամբողջ աշխարհի կայունությանն ու անվտանգությանը:
Գլխավոր սպառնալիքն, ըստ նրա, կլիմայական փոփոխություններն են, որոնք սպասվածից արագ են տեղի ունենում: «Մեզ անհրաժեշտ է ակտիվացնել պայքարն ամբողջ աշխարհի գոյությանն սպառնացող այս պոտենցիալ վտանգի դեմ: Ժամանակն է օգտագործել մեր վերջին շանսը: Ժամանակն է ընդհատել կլիմայական փոփոխությունների անվերահսկելի եւ արագ զարգացող գործընթացը»,-ասվում է Գուտերեշի ուղերձում:
ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը հիշեցրել է աշխարհում աշխարհաքաղաքական հակասությունների ուժգնացման մասին. արդյունքում կոնֆլիկտների լուծումն ավելի է բարդանում: Բացի այդ, նա նշել է մարդկության սպառնալիքներից ունեցվածքային անհավասարության եւ անհանդուրժողականության աճի մասին:
Միեւնույն ժամանակ, ըստ ՄԱԿ-ի ղեկավարի, իրավիճակն այնքան էլ անհուսալի չէ: Գուտերեշը նշել է, որ Յեմենում եւ Հարավային Սուդանում խաղաղության հաստատման շանսերը ներկայումս բարձր են, քան երբեւէ: Եթովպիայի եւ Էրիթրեայի միջեւ վերջերս ստորագրված պայմանագիրը նպաստել է այդ երկու երկրների հարաբերություններում լարվածության նվազմանը:
