INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱմերիկյան The Washington Post պարբերականը, ամփոփելով անցնող տարին, պարզել է՝ 2018թ. քանի անգամ է ստել նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը:
Հայտնի է, որ հատուկ ծրագիրը ընտրել ու ստուգել է Թրամփի կասկածելի հայտարարությունները, ինչի արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ նախագահն օրական միջինում 15 սուտ է ասել հիմնականում Իրանի, լրատվամիջոցների ու Հիլարի Քլինթոնի վերաբերյալ:
Նշվում է , որ մեկ տարում Թրամփը 7.600 անգամ ստել է, ինչը եռակի գերազանցում է նախորդ տարվա ցուցանիշը՝ 1989 անգամ:
Պարբերականը նկատում է, որ Կոնգրեսի՝ նոյեմբերին կայացած միջանկյալ ընտրություններին մոտենալուն զուգահեռ Թրամփը սկսել է ավելի շատ սուտ հայտարարություններ անել: Այսպես՝ սեպտեմբերին նա ստել է 600, հոկտեմբերին՝ 1200, իսկ նոյեմբերին՝ 900 անգամ: Ընտրությունների ավարտից հետո՝ դեկտեմբերին, երկրի ղեկավարը ստել է 200 անգամ:
Պարբերականի տվյալներով՝ կեղծ հայտարարությունների ¼-րդ մասը նա արել է նախընտրական քարոզարշավի և լրագրողների հետ շփումների ժամանակ, իսկ մոտ 17%-ը հրապարակել է Twitter-ում:
Նախագահի ստերը վերաբերում են ինչպես ոչ նշանակալի, այնպես էլ լուրջ իրադարձություններին: Մասնավորապես՝ նա շարունակում է պնդել, որ երբեք գումար չի վճարել պոռնոդերասանուհիներին, սակայն նրա անձնական փաստաբան Մայքլ Քոհենը հակառակն է խոստովանել: Բացի այդ, Թրամփը չափազանցնում է տարատեսական տնտեսական, քաղաքական ցուցանիշներ: Նա իրականությանը չհամապատասխանող հայտարարություններ է անում Մեքսիկայի հետ սահմանին ներգաղթյալների հետ կապված իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ:
Հատկանշական է, որ պարբերականի կողմից դեկտեմբերին անցկացված սոցհարցման արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ ամեն տասը ամերիկացուց երեքը չի հավատում նախագահի ասածին:
