Ամերիկացի սահմանապահները փախստականների դեմ արցունքաբեր գազ են կիրառել
INTERNATIONAL NEWSՀունվարի 1-ին Լատինական Ամերիկայից մոտ 150 միգրանտներ Տիխուանայից ոչ հեռու փորձել են հատել ԱՄՆ-Մեքսիկա սահմանը: Ամերիկացի սահմանապահները փախստականների դեմ արցունքաբեր գազ են կիրառել, փոխանցում է DW-ն:
ԱՄՆ սահմանապահ ծառայությունից հայտնել են, որ արցունքաբեր գազը կիրառել են, քանի որ բազմությունը սկսել է իրավապահների վրա քարեր նետել: Արդյունքում ձերբակալվել է 25 մարդ, որոնք թվում երկուսը դեռահաս են: Մնացյալ փախստականները կարողացել են վերադառնալ Մեքսիկայի տարածք: Ընդ որում՝ AP-ի թղթակիցը հայտնում է, որ միգրանտները սկսել են քարեր նետել սահմանապահների կողմից ուժ կիրառելուց հետո:
Մեքսիկայի ԱԳ նախարարությունը ներկայումս միջադեպի հետ կապված հայտարարություն չի կատարել: 2018-ի նոյեմբերին համանման միջադեպի հետ կապված Մեքսիկայի իշխանությունները քննություն էին նախաձեռնել՝ արցունքաբեր գազի կիրառումը գնահատելով որպես պետության դեմ զենքի օգտագործում:
Վերջին ամիսներին Լատինական Ամերիկայի հազարավոր բնակիչներ, որոնք ցանկանում են իրենց հայրենիքում աղքատությունից եւ բռնությունից ազատվել, փորձում են անցնել ԱՄՆ սահմանը: Նրանք Տիխուանայի շրջանում ճամբար են ստեղծել եւ հույս ունեն Միացյալ Նահանգներում ապաստան ստանալ: Ընդ որում՝ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը խստացրել է ամերիկյան սահմանի վերահսկողությունը:
