«Եկեղեցին դարեր ի վեր մեր պատմության նավն է, մեր ինքնության նույնականացումը:
Սբ. Ծնունդն է ինձ համար «ամանորը»: Նոր կյանքի սկիզբը. առանց մեղքերի, մեղադրանքների, լի հավատով և ապագայի նկատմամբ պատասխանատվությամբ: Քրիստոնեության մեջ շատ է պատասխանատվությունն ու կամքի գործոնը:
…Դադիվանքն ինձ հուզեց առաջին իսկ վայրկյանից, երբ ուխտ արեցի մի օր տեսնել այն վերականգնված և ուժեղ՝ ինչպես վայել է մեր հավատքին ու եկեղեցուն: Ես ուխտ արեցի ջանքերս միացնել այն բոլոր ուխտավորներին՝ հայտնի թե անհայտ, որոնք դարեր ի վեր շենացրել, պահել ու վերականգնել են մեր հավատքի տաճարներն ու մեր Պատմությունը։ Ինչպես որ Վանական համալիրն է իր ամբողջության մեջ լիարժեք և ուժեղ, այնպես էլ մեր բոլորի հավաքական ուժն ու կամքն է նորոգող ու հավատի ուղին ամրացնող։
Աստծո օգնությամբ ուխտս ավարտին եմ հասցնում, խոստումս՝ պահում։
Սբ. Մարիամն ունի հետաքրքիր գմբեթ. ցավալիորեն վատ վիճակում էր, բայց վերականգնելիս փորձել ենք առավելապես պահպանել կառույցի նախնական տեսքը, ինչի համար հարկ եղավ շատ մեծ շառավղով փնտրել ու հատ առ հատ գտնել քարերը, որոնցով շարված է եղել։ Վերաբացումը նախատեսում ենք գարնանը։ Աստված առաջ։
Վանքերը պետք է թելադրեն որակ, ամրացնեն Ոգին ու Պետականությունը: Նրանց կաևորագույն գործառույթն է ԼՈՒՍԱՎՈՐՉՈՒԹՅՈՒՆԸ։ Ի վերջո Քրիստոսի ծնունդով սկսվեց Լույսի և սիրո ժամանակը։
