«Մի շարք միջազգային կառույցներ, մասնավորապես եվրոպական երկրներում, Արևմուտքում Հայաստանին և Ադրբեջանին շատ հաճախ նույնացնում են: Նույնացնում են այն իմաստով, որ դիտարկել են նույն հարթության վրա. տարբեր ինտեգրացիոն պրոցեսներում, տարբեր նույնիսկ միջազգային պարբերականներում վերլուծությունների ժամանակ Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը դիտարկվել են միասին»,- նշել է Հայկ Կոնջորյանն ու նաև առաջարկել է դիտարկել Հայաստանի աշխարհաքաղաքական դիրքավորումը. «Մենք շրջապատված ենք ավտորիտար Թուրքիայով, ավտորիտար բնույթի Իրանով, ավտորիտար Ադրբեջանով. միայն մեր հարևաններից Վրաստանի Հանրա Հանրապետությունն է, որ ժողովրդավարական ճանապարհով է գնում»:
