Առողջապահության նախարար Արսեն Թորոսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է. 

Վրաստանին օգնելու նպատակով, իմ հրամանով նրանց մեր կողմից կտրամադրվի 30.000 դոզա կարմրուկի պատվաստանյութ, որպեսզի մեր հարևան երկիրը ավելի արդյունավետ և արագ պայքարի կարմրուկի բռնկումների դեմ, քանի որ ինչպես գիտեք հիվանդությունները սահմաններ չեն ճանաչում։ 

Երեկ խոսեցի Վրաստանի իմ գործընկեր Դավիթ Սերգեենկոյի հետ Վրաստանում կարմրուկի դեպքերի բռնկումների մասին։ Նա ինձ հայտնեց, որ մինչ օրս արձանագրվել է կարմրուկի 1028 նոր դեպք, ինչը հիմնականում պայմանավորված է նրանով, որ 90-ականներին բազմաթիվ երեխաներ չեն պատվաստվել կարմրուկի դեմ։ Ես տեղեկացա նաև, որ օրական արձանագրվող 50-60 դեպքը իջել է օրական 35-ի՝ շնորհիվ այն հակահամաճարակային միջոցառումների, որ իրականացվում են Վրաստանում, այդ թվում 20-40 տարեկան ազգաբնակչության ինտենսիվ պատվաստումների։ 

Բարեբախտաբար Հայաստանում վերջին կարմրուկի տեղական դեպքը արձանագրվել է 2007թ-ին՝ շնորհիվ մեր երկրում կարմրուկի դեմ պատվաստումների բարձր ցուցանիշների։ Վերջին բերովի դեպքը արձանագրվել էր 2018թ․-ի դեկտեմբերին ՌԴ-ից ժամանած ուղևորի մոտ և կրկին բարեբախտաբար տարածում չէր ունեցել մեր երկրում։ 

Կոչ եմ անում բոլորին ստանալ ազգային իմունիզացիայի ծրագրով նախատեսված բոլոր պատվաստումները, իսկ գանգատների դեպքում՝ դիմել բժշկի։
