VIDEOՓետրվարի 9-ին ՀՀ ոստիկանության պետ Վալերի Օսիպյանն ընդունեց անցած տարի ծառայողական պարտականությունները կատարելիս զոհված ոստիկանության ավագ ենթասպա Արա Շախգուլյանի այրուն՝ Մարինե Շախգուլյանին, եւ որդիներին՝ Դավիթ եւ Ալբերտ Շախգուլյաններին:
Հանդիպմանը ներկա էին նաեւ ոստիկանության պետի տեղակալները:
Վալերի Օսիպյանը նշեց, որ ոստիկանության ավագ ենթասպա Արա Շախգուլյանի կատարածը հերոսություն է, քանի որ նա ծառայողական պարտքը գերազանց է իրականացրել եւ զոհվել զինված հանցագործին վնասազերծելիս:
Ոստիկանության պետն իր աջակցությունը հայտնեց զոհված ոստիկանի ընտանիքին եւ վստահեցրեց, որ ողջ համակարգը նրանց կողքին է եւ կաջակցի ու կօժանդակի բոլոր հարցերում:
Հիշեցնենք, որ 2018 թվականի մայիսի 3-ին Երեւանի բանկերից մեկում տեղի էր ունեցել ավազակային հարձակում: Այդ պահին Արա Շախգուլյանը եղել է բանկի տարածքում եւ երբ լսել է բանկի աշխատակիցների ձայները, հետապնդել է ավազակային հարձակում գործած անձին: Տեսնելով իրեն հետապնդող ոստիկանին՝ հանցագործը կրակոց է արձակել ոստիկանի ուղղությամբ եւ սպանել նրան:
