Արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Արման Նավասարդյանը համաձայն չէ այն դիտարկումների հետ, որ Սիրիա հայկական զորախումբ ուղարկելն արկածախնդրություն է վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի կողմից:
«Նախկին իշխանությունների վարած քաղաքական գիծը ես համարում եմ ինֆորմացիոն հիստերիա. ես Թեhրան եմ գնացել, մարդիկ հարցնում են՝ ձեր մոտ ի՞նչ է կատարվում: Շատ դիվանագետներ ասացին, որ ձեր ներքին ընդդիմության վարած գիծը ոչ մի բանով չի տարբերվում ադրբեջանական հակահայկական քաղաքականությունից»,- ասաց նա:
Հիշեցնենք, որ փետրվարի 8-ին հումանիտար ականազերծողներից, բժիշկներից և նրանց անմիջական անվտանգությունն ապահովող հայ մասնագետներից բաղկացած խումբը (ընդհանուր 83 անձ) ժամանել է Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետություն (ք.Հալեպ)՝ Սիրիայի ժողովրդին մարդասիրական մասնագիտական օժանդակություն ցուցաբերելու նպատակով:
«Դա հումանիտար զորք է, և բախման ժամանակ նրանք ոչինչ չունեն անելու: Ես առաջիններից մեկն էի, որ այն ժամանակ ասացի՝ դա իրենից վտանգ պարունակում է, բայց հիմա իրադրություն է փոխվել: Նախ և առաջ՝ ԱՄՆ-ն դրան շատ նորմալ է նայում իր ամբողջ ռազմական քաղաքականության ենթատեքստում: Վստահ եմ, որ Բոլթոնի՝ ՀՀ այցի ժամանակ այս հարցին անդրադարձ է եղել: Բոլթոնը դա շատ նորմալ ընկալեց, մանավանդ որ զորքը հանում են այնտեղից: Համենայնդեպս, ոչ մի սանկցիաների հետ կապված մոտեցում նրանց կողմից չկա: Հետո, եթե մենք Ռուսաստանի հետ ունենք որոշակի խնդիրներ, ապա ես գտնում եմ, որ սա լավ քայլ է»,- նկատեց Արման Նավասարդյանը:
Նրա կարծիքով՝ 83 հոգանոց զորախումբը, մեծ հաշվով, չի կարող հայկական համայնքի համար մեծ քայլեր անել, բայց, իհարկե, որոշակի օգնություն կկարողանա տրամադրել:
«Դա չի նշանակում, որ նրանք հայ համայնքը կփրկեն կործանումից, բայց ինքնին ներկայությունը լավ ժեստ է: Սա զուտ քաղաքական որոշում է, մեր ներկայությունը այնտեղ՝ դրոշի տակ, կարծում եմ, շատ դրական կլինի»,- ասաց դեսպանը:
