Հայ ժողովուրդն ամեն օր հակադարձում է Ադրբեջանի նորանոր ոտնձգություններին` անառիկ պահելով իր հայրենիքի սահմանները: Դժբախտաբար, խաղաղությունը հաստատվում է նաև դիրքապահ զինվորների կյանքի գնով: «Հայոց հողում ամեն օր ծնվում են նոր հերոսներ, որոնց իրագործած հերոսությամբ մենք հպարտանում ենք, նորովի վերապրում ու վերաիմաստավորում ենք մուսալեռցիների հավաքական արիությունը»,-սրանք ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանի խոսքերն են` հնչեցված Մուսա լեռան հերոսամարտի 100-ամյակի շրջանակներում կազմակերպված միջոցառման ժամանակ:
«Մուսա լեռան հերոսամարտն ապացուցեց, որ համաժողովրդական պայքարն ու ներքին ինքնակերտ կազմակերպվածությունն են հաղթանակի հասնելու ամենակարևոր գրավականները: Հայության հետագա սերունդները, վերածննդի գաղափարախոսությամբ կերտելով նոր Հայաստան, յուրացրին այդ դասերը: 1988 թվականին բոցավառվեցին պատմական արդարության հաղթանակի հանդեպ իրենց ոգիներում անթեղված հավատն ու սկսեց Արցախյան շարժումը, որը, վերածվելով նորօրյա ազատամարտի, Հայոց պատմության համար հաղթանակով եզրափակեց ցեղասպանությամբ սկսված 20-րդ դարը»-ասաց նախարարը:
Նրա խոսքով` հակառակորդը, ցավոք, պատմությունից դասեր չի քաղում և ինչպես Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում ու Արցախում, այնպես էլ Մերձավոր Արևելքում փորձում է խաթարել հայի ազատ ու արժանապատիվ կյանքի իրավունքը: «Կրոնական ծայրահեղ ու ձևափոխված ըմբռնումների դրոշի ներքո փորձում են վերաձևել աշխարհի քարտեզը: Նոր պատերազմ սանձազերծելու իրենց ձգտումը քողարկում են պետական քաղաքականության մակարդակով բարձրացված հակահայկական քարոչությամբ ու նավթադոլարներով սնվող դիվանագիտությամբ»,-շեշտադրեց Սեյրան Օհանյանը:
