Ինչպես «Չելսիի» դարպասապահը հրաժարվեց փոխարինվել հետխաղյա 11 մետրանոց հարվածաշարից առաջ

Հետխաղյա 11 մետրանոցներից առաջ «Չելսիի» գլխավոր մարզիչ Մաուրիցիո Սարին ցանկացել է փոխարինել Կեպա Արիսաբալագային եւ դաշտ դուրս բերել արգենտինացի դարպասապահ Վիլի Կաբալերոյին, սակայն իսպանացի դարպասապահը հրաժարվել է լքել խաղադաշտը եւ շարունակել է հանդիպումը: Արիսաբալագան վնասվածք էր ստացել խաղի վերջնամասում, ինչից հետո Կաբալերոն տաքացրել էր մկանները դաշտ դուրս գալու համար: Լրացուցիչ ժամանակի վերջին րոպեներին մրցավարները հայտնեցին փոփոխության մասին, սակայն իսպանացի դարպասապահը հրաժարվեց դաշտում տեղը զիջել Կաբալերոյին: Դա զայրացրեց Մաուրիցիո Սարիին, որը նույնիսկ որոշեց գնալ հանդերձարանի կողմը, բայց քիչ անց վերադարձավ:
Հիշեցնենք, որ հետխաղյա 11 մետրանոցների ժամանակ Արիսաբալագան հետ մղեց մեկ հարված, սակայն դա «Մանչեսթեր Սիթիին» չխանգարեց հաղթել 4:3 հաշվով: Լոնդոնի «Ուեմբլի» ստադիոնում կայացած հանդիպման հիմնական եւ ավելացված ժամանակն ավարտվել էր 0:0: հաշվով:
Հետխաղյա 11 մետրանոցների ժամանակ «Չելսիից» վրիպեցին բրազիլացիներ Ժորժինյոն ու Դավիդ Լուիսը, իսկ Սեսար Ասպիլիկուետան, Էդերսոնն ու Էդեն Ազարը դիպուկ էին: «Մանչեսթեր Սիթիից» դարպասը գրավեցին Իլկայ Գյունդոգանը, Սերխիո Ագուերոն, Բերնարդո Սիլվան ու Ռահիմ Ստերլինգը, իսկ Լերոյ Սանեն վրիպեց:
«Մանչեսթեր Սիթին» պաշտպանեց տիտղոսը եւ 6-րդ անգամ հաղթեց Անգլիական լիգայի գավաթի խաղարկությունում:
Սա «Մանչեսթեր Սիթին» գլխավորող Խոսեպ Գվարդիոլայի 25-րդ տիտղոսն էր մարզչական կարիերայում: Վերջին 6 տարում մանչեսթերյան ակումբը չորրորդ անգամ հաղթեց այս մրցաշարում:
Հիշեցնենք, որ «Մանչեսթեր Սիթին» ու «Չելսին» նախորդ անգամ հանդիպել էին փետրվարի 10-ին, երբ Խոսեպ Գվարդիոլայի գլխավորած թիմը հաղթել էր 6։0 հաշվով։ Ավելի վաղ բրիտանական մամուլում լուրեր էին շրջանառվում, որ Մաուրիցիո Սարին պաշտոնանկ կարվի Անգլիական լիգայի գավաթի խաղարկության եզրափակիչում պարտվելու դեպքում։
