Արևելագիտության ինստիտուտի ավագ գիտաշխատող, էներգետիկ աշխարհաքաղաքականության  և միջազգային անվտանգության հարցերով մասնագետ Արմեն Մանվելյանի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանի տարանցիկության հնարավորությունները սահմանափակված են աշխարհաքաղաքական խնդիրներով:

 

Նա Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում նման բան ասաց՝ անդրադառնալով վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՝ Իրան կատարած այցին և դրա ընթացքում եղած հայտարարությանը, որ Հայաստանը պատրաստ է իրանական գազի համար տարանցիկ երկիր լինել:

 

«Եթե խոսքը գազի տարանցիկության մասին է,ապա միակ տեղը, որ կարող են իրանական գազը տարանցել, Վրաստանն է,- ասաց նա՝ հավելելով, որ մեր իրականության մեջ նման փորձ եղել է, երբ իրանական գազը Հայաստանի միջոցով տարանցվել է Վրաստան և վաճառվել մի ընկերության,- հետագայում այն զարգացում չունեցավ: Թե որն էր դրա պատճառը, ես դժվարանում եմ ասել, բայց հավանական է, որ վրացական շուկան նույնպես շատ փոքր է, և քանի որ այդ շուկան էլ հագեցած է ադրբեջանական գազով, այնտեղ մուտքը արդեն հետաքրքիր չէ պարսիկների համար, եթե խնդիրը չունի քաղաքական կոմպոնենտ»:

 

Նա նկատեց, որ խոսվում է հիմնականում, որ իրանական գազի գնորդը հիմնականում Եվրամիությունն է: «Բայց իրականության մեջ սա այնքան էլ չի համապատասխանում իրականությանը: Նախ սկսենք նրանից, որ եվրոպական գազի շուկան փոքրացող է, եթե տասը տարի առաջ Եվրոպան սպառում էր 500 միլիարդ խորանարդ մետր գազ, ապա հիմա սպառում է ընդամենը 400 միլիարդ: Այսինքն՝ սա փոքրացող շուկա է, և Եվրամիության քաղաքականությունն այնպիսին է, որ այդպիսի վառելիքից՝ գազից, նավթից հրաժարվեն, գնան դեպի ավելի վերականգնողական, էկոլոգիապես ավելի մաքուր էներգիայի: Հետևաբար այդ շուկան արդեն խնդրահարույց է»,- ասաց նա:

 

Բացի դրանից, ըստ Արմեն Մանվելյանի՝ եվրոպական շուկան գերհագեցած է ռուսական, նորվեգական և ալժիրական գազով:

 

 

«Մտնել այդ շուկան գերբարդ խնդիր է»,- նկատեց նա:

 

 

Էներգետիկ ոլորտի փորձագետի խոսքով՝ էլեկտրաէներգիայի փոխանցման համար տարանցիկ լինելու ուղղությամբ Հայաստանը կարող է և պետք է մտածի:
