Բժիշկ Մալհոթրան իր հիվանդներին խորհուրդ է տալիս ավելի շատ ճարպեր ուտել և խուսափել անյուղ մթերքներից:

Բժիշկ Մալհոթրան նշում է, որ անյուղ մթերքները մեծացնում են սրտանոթային հիվանդությունների առաջացման ռիսկը, նա հավելել է, որ ճարպերը ճարպակալման հիմնական պատճառը չեն:

Բժիշկը պնդում է, որ շաքարն ամենամեծ վտանգն է ընդհանուր առողջական վիճակի համար, մանկաբույժ Ռոբերտ Լյուսթինգը նույն կարծիքի է:

Նա ուսումնասիրում է ճարպերի և շաքարի ազդեցությունը երեխաների ճարպակալման վրա և հայտնաբերել է, որ հենց շաքարն է նպաստում ավելորդ քաշի կուտակման, սրտանոթային հիվանդությունների առաջացման և շաքարային դիաբետի:Ավելի ու ավելի շատ փորձագետներ կան, որոնք համաձայն են, որ շաքարը ճարպակալման և ուղեկցող շատ հիվանդությունների հիմնական պատճառն է:
