Բիզնես առաջնորդները Հայաստանը սկսել են ճանաչել որպես տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների և ինովացիաների կենտրոն, որի շնորհիվ Հայաստանում արագորեն աճում է ստարտափների մշակույթը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին գրում է ստարտափների և ինովացիոն նորույթների մասնագիտացած դանիական Valuer հարթակը: Այն կազմել է ողջ աշխարհում ամենահաջողակ ստարտափներ ունեցող 25 քաղաքների ցուցակ, որտեղ Երևանը զբաղեցրել է 6-րդ հորիզոնականը: «Երկրում, որն իրեն անվանում է «Սիլիկոնյան լեռներ», ծրագրային ապահովման ոլորտում մասնագիտացած ստարտափների թիվը 2015-2017 թվականների ընթացքում չորս անգամ աճել է՝ հասնելով մոտ 280-ի: Կառավարությունն օրենսդրական կարգավորումներով նպաստում է այս շուկայի հետագա աճին՝ ստարտափների համար առաջարկելով 5 տարով հարկերից ազատում և Երևանում ստեղծելով  երկու ազատ տնտեսական գոտի, որտեղ տեխնոլոգիական ստարտափները կարող են գործել առանց ԱԱՀ, տարածքի, եկամտահարկեր վճարելու կամ արտահանման մաքսատուրքի»,- նշում է Valuer-ը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանում արվող այս բարեփոխումների շնորհիվ տեխնոլոգիական ինդուստրիան տարեկան 20 տոկոսանոց աճ է գրանցում, ինչը մեծ թիվ է Հայաստանի ընդհանուր տնտեսական աճի համեմատությամբ: Valuer-ը գրում է նաև Հայաստանում խոշոր ամերիկյան տեխնոլոգիական ընկերությունների կողմից կրթական ծրագրերի ֆինանսավորման մասին՝ նշելով, որ այս բոլոր ցուցանիշների շնորհիվ Երևանում ստարտափների մշակույթը շարունակելու է զարգանալ: Valuer-ի ցուցակի առաջին հինգ հորիզոնականները զբաղեցրել են Վարշավան (Լեհաստան), Թալինը (Էստոնիա), Լյուբլյանան (Սլովենիա), Պորտլանդը (ԱՄՆ) և Ռիգան (Լատվիա): Ավելի վաղ ՏՏ ոլորտում կարիերայի լավագույն հնարավորություններ ընձեռող քաղաքների տասնյակում Երևանը ներառել էր բրիտանական բիզնես տեխնոլոգիական Enterprise Times պորտալը:
