Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի որոշմամբ ստեղծված Հանրապետական մակարդակով աղբահանման և աղբի վերամշակման աշխատանքները համակարգող աշխատանքային խումբը, որը ղեկավարում է վարչապետի գլխավոր խորհրդական Արսեն Գասպարյանը, սկսում է աշխատանքների առաջին փուլը: Այս մասին NEWS.am-ը տեղեկանում է ՀՀ կառավարության լրատվական ծառայությունից։

Հայաստանի ամերիկյան համալսարանի (ՀԱՀ) Յակոբեան բնապահպանական կենտրոնի հետ համագործակցությամբ սկսվում է ՀԱՀ Մանուկյան Սիմոն հետազոտական հիմնադրամի կողմից ֆինանսավորվող «Թափոնների քանակի և բաղադրության ուսումնասիրություն» ծրագիրը: Ծրագրի իրականացնող գործընկերն է բրիտանական «Յունոմիա» հետազոտական և խորհրդատվական ընկերությունը:

Ծրագրում կներգրավվեն տեղական փորձագետներ և Հայաստանի տարբեր մարզերի ՏԻՄ-եր: Նախագիծը կօժանդակի վերապատրաստել փորձագետներ և տեղական անձնակազմ՝ նմանատիպ ուսումնասիրություններ իրականացնելու համար: 

Հետազոտության արդյունքները կնպաստեն Հայաստանի Կառավարության կողմից շրջանաձև տնտեսության սկզբունքների վրա հիմնված թափոնների կառավարման  համապարփակ քաղաքականության վերամշակմանն ու իրականացմանը: Ծրագրի նպատակն է տեղեկատվություն ստանալ թափոնների հավաքման, վերամշակման և էներգիայի օգտագործման ոլորտներում ներդրումների վերաբերյալ որոշումներ կայացնելու համար:

Հայաստանի կառավարության բարեփոխումների օրակարգը նպատակ ունի ՀՀ-ԵՄ «Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի» շրջանակներում հասնել ԵՄ օրենսդրական համապատասխանեցմանը, որն իր հերթին կնպաստի 2030 օրակարգի շրջանակներում Կայուն զարգացման նպատակներին  հասնելու Հայաստանի հանձնառությանը:
