Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունն իրոք ժողովրդական և ժողովրդավարական պետություն է, այստեղ իշխանությունն իսկապես պատկանում է ժողովրդին: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին Վիեննայում տեղի հայ համայնքի հետ հանդիպմանն ասաց

 

«Ինձ համար այսօր մեծ պատիվ է լինել այս՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետի կարգավիճակում, մեծ պատիվ է այն զգացման պատճառով, որ ես վարչապետ եմ բացառապես Հայաստանի ժողովրդի ցանկության, ընտրության բերումով»,- նշեց նա:

 

Վարչապետն ընդգծեց, որ դեռևս ընդդիմադիր գործիչ լինելու ժամանակ մշտապես խոսել է այն մասին, թե որքան կարևոր է իշխանության լեգիտիմությունը թե՛ միջազգային, թե՛ ներքին հարաբերություններում: «Հիմա դա հասկանում եմ իմ ամենօրյա աշխատանքի, միջազգային հարաբերություններում շփումների ժամանակ: Արդեն իսկ տեղի է ունեցել ամենակարևոր հաղթանակը. դա ժողովրդի իշխանության հաստատումն է Հայաստանում:

Հիմա մանավանդ այն տնտեսական ցուցանիշները, որ սկսում են երևալ, այն գնահատականներն ու կանխատեսումները, որ մեր տնտեսական զարգացման վերաբերյալ սկսում են անել միջազգային վարկանշային կազմակերպությունները, մեզ վստահություն են տալիս, որ ինչպես մենք միասին հաջողեցինք քաղաքական հեղափոխության գործընթացում, հաջողելու ենք նաև տնտեսական հեղափոխության գործընթացում: Եվ այդ հեղափոխությունն արդեն իսկ սկսվել է»,- ասաց նա:

 

Փաշինյանը նշեց, որ ամեն տեղ, որտեղ այցելում է, իրենց միշտ ջերմացնում և ուժ է տալիս այն հանգամանքը, որ այդ միջավայրում բազմաթիվ հայրենակիցներ կան: «Շատ հետաքրքիր էր, որ երբ Ավստրիայի վարչապետի հետ հանդիպմանը ոտքով գնացի, ժամանակ առ ժամանակ հանդիպում էի հայերի»,- պատմեց նա՝ նշելով, որ խոսել է իրեն հանդիպած ոչ միայն հայերի, այլև ավստրիացիների հետ:

Անդրադառնալով Ավստրիայի ղեկավարության հետ հանդիպումներին՝ վարչապետը հայտնել է, որ այդ երկրի կառավարությունը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել գործակցել Հայաստանի հետ և աջակցել մեր երկրին ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների գործընթացում:
