«Տարածքներ՝ խաղաղության դիմաց» ձևաչափ այլևս չի լինելու. Տոնոյանը Նյու Յորքում հանդիպել է հայ համայնքի հետ
POLITICSՀայաստանի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանը մարտի 29-ին Նյու Յորքում հանդիպել է հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, «Ամերիկայի ձայն»-ը հայտնում է, որ հանդիպմանը քննարկել են հայկական բանակին առնչվող տարբեր հարցեր:
«Ես՝ որպես պաշտպանության նախարար, ասում եմ, որ այդ ձևաչափը՝ «տարածքներ՝ խաղաղության դիմաց», չի լինելու, ես այն վերաձևակերպել եմ՝ «նոր պատերազմ՝ նոր տարածքների» դիմաց»,- հայտարարել է Տոնոյանը՝ անդրադառնալով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման գործընթացին:
Նա նշել է նաև, որ միակողմանի զիջումներ չեն լինելու, հնարավոր են փոխզիջումներ:
Տոնոյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանն ավելացնելու է գրոհային ստորաբաժանումները: «Մենք խրամատային, անընդհատ պաշտպանական վիճակից ձերբազատվելու ենք, և ավելացնելու ենք այն ստորաբաժանումների քանակը, որոնք կարող են ռազմական գործողությունները տեղափոխել հակառակորդի տարածք»,- հայտարարել է պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը:
Նա պատմել է հայկական բանակում իրականացվող ծրագրերի ու դրանց իրականացման մեջ սփյուռքի հնարավոր դերի մասին՝ հիմնականում նվիրատվությունների տեսքով: «Ամենաչսիրած բանը զինված ուժերում և մասնավորապես ինձ համար հանգանակության խնդիրներն են: Ես զինվորականներին սովորեցնում եմ չխնդրել, չվախենալ»,- ասել է նա:
Տոնոյանը պատասխանել է հնչող հարցերին՝ բանակում տիրող իրավիճակից մինչև տարածաշրջանային խնդիրներ: Նա նշել է, որ բանակում մահացության աստիճանը պետք է ամեն կերպ կրճատել՝ չնայած իսպառ վերացնել հնարավոր չէ:
«Անխուսափելի է, զենքով են, երիտասարդ են, պայմանները՝ զուտ տնտեսական, որում գործում են, հնարավոր չէ այս պահին այլ իրավիճակի հասցնել»,- ասել է նա՝ կարևորելով բանակում կրիմինալ բարքերի դեմ պայքարը, որի դրսևորումներից մեկն էլ վերջերս Մեղրիում տեղի ունեցած միջադեպն էր: Տոնոյանը կարևորել է նաև բանակում կանանց թվի և դերի բարձրացման հարցը:
Հանդիպման ավարտին տեղի ունեցավ «Հայ վիրավոր զինվոր» հիմնադրամի ղեկավարների պարգևատրման արարողությունը՝ որպես Հայաստանի խորհրդանշական երախտիքն ԱՄՆ-ից հայ զինվորներին տրամադրվող օգնության համար:
