Քիչ առաջ կրակոցներ են հնչել Կոտայքի մարզում: Անհայտ անձը կամ անձինք Հանքավանի Տաք ջուր հատվածում կրակոցներ են արձակել Nissan Teana մակնիշի 21 VA 777 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայի ուղղությամբ: Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, ըստ նախնական տեղեկությունների` կա 3 զոհ: Այս պահին նշված վայր է ժամանել ոստիկանության Կոտայքի մարզային վարչության օօպերատիվ խումբը` վարչության պետ Սերոբ Հարությունյանի գլխավորությամբ: Ժամանել են նաև Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Կոտայքի մարզային քննչական վարչության մեծ թվով քննիչներ` վարչության պետ Մհեր Վարդանյանի գլխավորությամբ:
Երևանից ժամանել են նաև ոստիկանության քրեական հետախուզության գլխավոր վարչության և նույն վարչության 2-րդ վարչության աշխատակիցները` վարչության պետի 1-ին տեղակալ Սամվել Ասատրյանի և 2-րդ վարչության պետ Ալիկ Մարգարյանի գլխավորությամբ: Տեղում են նաև ոստիկանության փորձաքրեագիտական վարչության փորձաքրեագետները:
Դեպքի վայրում են գտնվում նաև ճանապարհային ոստիկանության 2-րդ սպայական գումարտակի 3-րդ վաշտի 2-րդ դասակի աշխատակիցները` վաշտի հրամանատար Արթուր Պետրոսյանի գլխավորությամբ, ով, ըստ դեպքի վայրում հավաքվածների, մեկնել է հիվանդանոց` մի քանի քննիչների և ոստիկանության Հրազդանի բաժնի աշխատակիցների հետ:
Դեպքի վայրում հավաքվածները ֆոտոլրագրողին ասում էին, որ սպանվածներից 2-ը հարազատ եղբայրներ են: Ոստիկանությունն ու քննչական վարչությունը պարզում են մահացածների ինքնությունը: Փաստի առթիվ հարուցվել է քրեական գործ`` ՀՀ քր. օր.-ի 104 հոդվածի 3-րդ մասի և 235 հոդվածի 1-ին մասի հատկանիշներով:
