Արցախի Քարվաճառի շրջանի Եղեգնուտ համայնքում մեծ մասամբ զինվորականներ են ապրում իրենց ընտանիքներով, հիմնական աշխատանքն էլ հենց զորամասում է։
Եղեգնուտի առաջին բնակիչը Վոլոդյա Գրիգորյանն է, բնիկ արցախցի, այստեղ է տեղափոխվել 1993թ.–ին։ NEWS.am–ի հետ զրույցում տարեց տղամարդը մտովի 26 տարի հետ է գնում եւ հիշում՝ ինչպես այդ որոշումը կայացրեց. «Կռվի ժամանակ վիրավորվել էի, հիվանդանոցից դուրս գրվեցի, եկա էստեղ, տեսա, որ շինարարություն ա սկսվել։ Գնացի տուն, կնոջս ասի՝ գնում ենք Եղեգնուտում ապրելու, ես շենքում չեմ կարա ապրեմ, կինս զարմացավ, բայց դե հետս եկավ։ Կինս խոհարար էր աշխատում, ես՝ պահակ, պալատկի տակ էինք մնում, մինչեւ տունը սարքեցինք»։
26 տարի անց Գրիգորյանների ընտանիքը մեծ տուն ունի, հողատարածք, զբաղվում են անասնապահությամբ, գյուղի սկզբնամասում խանութ ունեն։ Վոլոդյա պապը հպարտությամբ նշում է, որ ամեն ինչ ստեղծել է երեխաների ու թոռների բարեկեցիկ ապագայի համար։
