Աշխարհում չկա այնպիսի պետություն, որի բանակը պատրաստվի խաղաղության: Խնդիր է դրված պատրաստվել պատերազմի, այլ ոչ թե խաղաղության: Այդ մասին, ի պատասխան ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանի հայտարարությանը, ասել է Ադրբեջանի ՊՆ մամուլի ծառայության ղեկավար Վագիֆ Դարգյախլըն, փոխանցում է minval.az-ը:

«Բանակի գործառույթն անկախության, ինքնիշխանության, տարածքային ամբողջականության, ինչպես նաեւ երկրի անվտանգության ու պաշտպանության ապահովումն է, որը միշտ պետք է պատրաստ լինի պատերազմի»,- ասել է Ադրբեջանի ՊՆ ներկայացուցիչը:

Ըստ նրա, եթե Հայաստանը խաղաղություն է ցանկանում, ապա «հայ զինվորները պետք է անհապաղ լքեն ադրբեջանական հողերը»:

Նա նշել է, թե Հայաստանի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարությունը պետք է մեկընդմիշտ հասկանա, որ ադրբեջանական բանակը խաղաղության մասին կարող է մտածել «միայն օկուպացված տարածքներն ազատագրելուց հետո»:

«Ներկայիս պայմաններում ադրբեջանական բանակը պատրաստ է ոչ թե խաղաղության, այլ պատերազմի»,- ասել է Դարգյախլըն:

Ավելի վաղ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Դավիթ Տոնոյանը, Եռաբլուրում պատասխանելով լրագրողի՝ Ադրբեջանի կողմից հնչող ռազմատենչ հայտարարությունների մասին հարցին, նշել էր. «Մենք ոչ թե պատերազմ ենք ցանկանում, այլ Ադրբեջանի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարությունը պետք է պատրաստի իր բանակին խաղաղության»:
