POLITICSՀՀԿ փոխնախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը գտնվում է Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի շենքում: Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում Աշոտյանը հայտնել է, որ այնտեղ ընթանում է Կենտրոնամետ դեմոկրատների միջազգային միության նիստը, որի լիիրավ անդամ դարձավ ՀՀԿ-ն:
«ՀՀԿ կողմից ներկայացված էր Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչմանն ու դատապարտմանն ուղղված բանաձև, որը քննարկվեց և ընդունվեց այս կարևորագույն միջազգային քաղաքական ընտանիքի կողմից»,- ասել է նա:
Արմեն Աշոտյանը նշել է, որ Կենտրոնամետ դեմոկրատների միջազգային միությունը միավորում է շուրջ 100 կուսակցությունների և կարևոր է, որ այս կառույցը նման բանաձև է ընդունել:
Սա հնարավորություն է բացում ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ի, ԱԺ համար՝ աշխատել այն երկրների հետ, որոնք դեռ չեն ճանաչել Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, բայց որոնց իշխանական կամ ընդդիմադիր կուսակցություններն այս ընտանիքի անդամ են: Աշոտյանի խոսքով՝ բանաձևը միայն ճանաչման ու դատապարտման մասին չէ: Այն անդրադառնում է թուրքական գործող կառավարության պատասխանատվությանը, ինչպես նաև հիշատակվում է հայկական մշակութային ժառանգությունը Թուրքիայում:
«Շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս, շատ ուրախ եմ, որ ՀՀԿ-ն, անկախ ներքաղաքական դասավորումների, շարունակում է աշխատել հանուն հայ ժողովրդի շահերի՝ օգտագործելով մեր գիտելիքները, փորձը, կապերը: Այս բանաձևի ընդունումը ապրիլին էր՝ հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին առջև»,- հավելել է Արմեն Աշոտյանը:
