Ինչո՞ւ սահմանվեց «ձկան օր» և ինչո՞ւ հենց հինգշաբթին

Ձկան օրը ժամանակին խորհրդային ճաշարաններում մտցրել են բնակչության առողջության համար, քանի որ օգտակար է շաբաթը գոնե մեկ օր ձուկ ուտել։
Իրականում այնքան էլ այդպես չէ։
Իհարկե, բնակչության առողջությունը ԽՍՀՄ-ում երբեմն հասնում էր վտանգավոր սահմանների, բայց սովորաբար դա կախված էր լինում ուղղակի քաղցի հետ։ Եվ ձկան օրվա ընդունումը ևս կապված էր դրա հետ։ Բանն այն է, որ 1930-ականներին կոլեկտիվացման պատճառով առաջացել էր մսի արտադրության կտրուկ անկում։ Անհրաժեշտ էր բնակչության շրջանում առաջացող սպիտակուցային քաղցը ինչ-որ կերպ կոմպենսացնել: Այդ իսկ պատճառով 1932 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 12-ին սննդամթերքի մատակարարման ժողկոմ Միկոյանը ստորագրում է «Հանրային սննդի կազմակերպություններում ձկան օր մտցնելու մասին» հրամանը, ըստ որի, հրահանգվում էր շաբաթվա մեկ օրը սահմանել «ձկան օր» և այդ օրը ճաշացուցակներում չընդգրկել մսային ուտեստներ: Այս ամենը պայմանավորված էր նրանով, որ միայն ծովերն ու լճերն էին իրականում խուսափել կոլեկտիվացումից, այսինքն՝ լի էին ձկներով։ Ուստի որոշվեց, որ մոյվան, սելդը և մնացած ձկները շաբաթական մեկ օր փոխարինելու են մսին։ Ինչ-որ տեղ կարող է թվալ, որ սա ուղղակի կապ ունի նաև Ռուս ուղղափառ եկեղեցու ավանդույթների հետ: Եկեղեցական ավանդույթներով, չորեքշաբթին և ուրբաթը հանդիսանում են պահքի օրեր, դրան գումարած՝ կան Մեծ և Փոքր պահքի օրեր: Ընդ որում, թույլատրվում էր պահքի որոշակի օրերին ձուկ օգտագործել: Սակայն, նաև հաշվի առնելով ժամանակաշրջանը, պարզ է, որ «ձկան օր» մտցնելը ոչ մի կապ չուներ այս եկեղեցական սովորության հետ: Ուշագրավ է, որ այս որոշումից շատ էր տուժում հենց կովկասցի Միկոյանը։ Նա իր հուշերում գրել է, որ սկզբից անգամ զզվելի էր կպչել ձկնապուրին, բայց հետո այն սկսեց նույնիսկ դուր գալ։ Այնուամենայնիվ, նշենք, որ բնակչության առողջության տեսակետից սա այնքան էլ վատ որոշում չէր։ Ավելի ուշ՝ 1976 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 26-ին ԽՄԿԿ կենտրոնական կոմիտեն նոր՝ կրկնակի որոշում ընդունեց՝ կապված «ձկան օրվա» հետ: Այս անգամ որոշվեց ձկան օրը» պարտադիր դարձնել և սահմանել կոնկրետ օր՝ հինգշաբթին: Այս դեպքում պատճառը ո՛չ սովն էր, ո՛չ էլ խորհրդային ղեկավարության «անդադար» մտահոգությունը ազգաբնակչության առողջությամբ: Ուղղակի կառավարությունը ցանկանում էր խթանել ձկնարդյունաբերության զարգացումը: Արդյունքում հանրային սննդի բոլոր կազմակերպություններում հինգշաբթի օրերը տրվում էին միայն ձկնային ուտեստներ՝ բացառելով մսայինը, որը, իհարկե, մեծ դժգոհություններ առաջացրեց աշխատավորների շրջանում:
Հարցին, թե ինչու «ձկան օրը» պարտադիր պետք է լինի հինգշաբթի, ԽՍՀՄ կառավարությունը, ինչքան էլ զարմանալի է, ուներ կոնկրետ բացատրություն: Ըստ նրանց, դա կատարվել է կոնկրետ վիճակագրական հետազոտությունների և հաշվարկների արդյունքում (հավանաբար ինչոր մեկը այդ գիտական աշխատանքի համար պրոֆեսոր կամ ակադեմիկոս է դարձել): Իսկ թե կոնկրետ ինչի վրա են հիմնված այդ հաշվարկները կամ վիճակագրությունը, այնքան էլ պարզ չէ, ընդամենն արձանագրվում է, որ, ըստ հաշվարկների, հենց հինգշաբթին է ձկնամթերքի առավել ակտիվ իրացման օրը:
