«Երևի, մանկուց եմ սիրահարվել այս մասնագիտությանը,– ասաց Արփին, ով սիրում է իր դերը խաղալ, նույնիսկ, երբ բեմում երգում է ու հիշեց, թե ինչպես էր մանկության տարիներին էլ խաղում իր դերը։ –Ծնողներս պատմում են, որ Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում ապրելու տարիներին միացնում էի մագնիտոֆոնը, սկսում խոսել ու ձայնագրել ինձ, թեև ընդամենը 4 տարեկան էի ու նորմալ խոսել էլ չէի կարողանում, հետո չմիացրած հեռուստացույցի առաջ կանգում, ինչ–որ բաներ էի անում։ 6 տարեկան էի, երբ եկանք Հայաստան, արդեն մեր հարևաններին էի հավաքում որպես իմ հանդիսատես ու տարատեսակ բաներ խաղում։ Ես այդ տարիքում չէի կարող հասկանալ, որ ուզում եմ դերասանուհի դառնալ, բայց արարքներումս դա արտահայտվում էր» ։
