Աղիքային հիվանդությունների թիվն այս տարի 5 անգամ գերազանցել է նախորդ տարվա ցուցանիշը: Հանրապետությունում աշնան առաջին երկու ամիսներին արձանագրվել է դիզենտերիա սուր աղիքային վարակիչ հիվանդությամբ վարակվածության բարձր մակարդակ, սակայն նոյեմբերին որևէ բռնկում չի գրանցվել:Այս մասին հայտնեց ԱՆ հիվանդությունների վերահսկման և կանխարգելման ազգայինկենտրոնի համաճարակաբանության բաժնի պետ Լիանա Թորոսյանը: Նրա հավաստմամբ` հիմանդությունների հիմնական պատճառը սննդային է եղել, եղել են նաև ջրային թունավորումներ։
Դիզենտերիայի վարակի աղբյուրը հիվանդը և բացիլակիրն են, իսկ վարակի փոխանցման ամենատարածված միջոցը` ձեռքերը: «Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության տվյալներով, վարակների փոխանցման 40-80 տոկոսը տեղի է ունենում ձեռքերի միջոցով»,- ասաց համաճարակաբանը` ընդգծելով, որ անկախ տարիքից և սեռից յուրաքանչյուր անձ պետք է հետևի ձեռքերի հիգիենային:
Մասնագետի խորհրդով, անհրաժեշտ է առաջնային ուշադրություն դարձնել ձեռքերի տեխնիկական լվացմանը՝ նախընտրելի է հեղուկ օճառով, գոլ և հոսող ջրի տակ, պարբերաբար օգտագործել խոնավացնող քսուկներ: Հասարակական վայրերում պետք է օգտագործել մեկանգամյա օգտագործման թղթե սրբիչներ:
