LIFEՈչ ոք չէր հավատում, որ Միացյալ թագավորությունից Մարի և Լյուսի Այլմերները՝ երկվորյակներ են։
Նրանք ծնվել են 1997թ. և նրանց հաճախ ընդունում էին որպես ընկերներ։
«Նույնիսկ, եթե մենք միանման ենք հագնվում, մենք միևնույնն է նման չենք քույրերի, էլ չենք խոսում երկվորյակների մասին»։
Նրանցից մեկի մոտ ուղիղ, կարմրավուն մազեր են և դեմքի բաց գույն, իսկ մյուսի մոտ՝ սև աչքեր և սև մաշկ։
Այն բանից հետո, երբ մայրը ծննդաբերեց նրանց, նա ապշահար էր եղել, երբ բժիշկները բերեցին երկվորյակներին։ Ամբողջ բանը գենետիկայի մեջ է։ Աղջիկները միաբջիջ երկվորյակներ չեն։
«Դա նրա համար այնպիսի շոկ էր, որովհետև այդպիսի բաները՝ մաշկի գույնը, մինչ ծնունդ չի երևում ՈՒՁ հետազոտությամբ։ Եվ հենց այդ պատճառով էլ նրանք պատկերացում չունեին, որ մենք այդքան տարբե երնք»։ – պատմում է Լյուսին իր մոր արձագանքի մասին։
