Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ վարչապետի աշխատակազմի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, ուղերձում, մասնավորապես, նշված է.

Ի սրտե շնորհավորում եմ Եվրոպայի օրվա կապակցությամբ, որը նշանավորվում է Եվրոպայում խաղաղության ու անվտանգության, ժողովուրդների բարեկամության և միասնության, տնտեսական և սոցիալական բարեկեցության հաստատմամբ:
Երկրորդ աշխարհամարտից հետո միացյալ Եվրոպայի ստեղծումը փաստեց, որ առաջադեմ, զորեղ և խաղաղասեր հասարակությունները խարսխված են մարդու իրավունքների, հիմնարար ազատությունների և ժողովրդավարության սկզբունքների վրա:
Եվրոպական արժեքները մեզանում լավագույնս դրսևորվեցին ուղիղ մեկ տարի առաջ, երբ հայ ժողովուրդն իր վճռական քայլը կատարեց՝ հիմք դնելով մեր երկրում ինստիտուցիոնալ և համապարփակ ժողովրդավարական համակարգի զարգացմանը։
Մենք կարևորում ենք ՀՀ-ԵՄ համընդգրկուն համագործակցությունը և այդ համագործակցությունը կանոնակարգող՝ Համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագրի լիարժեք կիրարկումը: Վստահ եմ, որ այդ առանցքային փաստաթղթի իրագործումը, որը լիարժեքորեն համահունչ է մեր որդեգրած արժեքներին, ինչպես նաև մեր կառավարության ձեռնարկած լայնածավալ բարեփոխումների օրակարգին, առավելագույնս կնպաստի մեր երկրում ժողովրդավարության ու սոցիալ-տնտեսական զարգացմանը։
Հաշվի առնելով, որ այս տարի մենք տոնում ենք Արևելյան գործընկերության հոբելյանական 10-րդ տարեդարձը, ցանկանում եմ իմ գնահատանքը հայտնել այն ներդրման համար, որ համագործակցության այդ ձևաչափն ունեցել է մեր երկրի և առհասարակ տարածաշրջանի բարգավաճման և կայուն զարգացման հարցում: Լիահույս եմ, որ Արևելյան գործընկերությունը կգրանցի նորանոր ձեռքբերումներ և կշարունակի իր հաստատակամ զարգացումը»:
