ՀԱՅ-ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆ
1885-ծնվել է հայ բանաստեղծ Գառնիկ Քալաշյանը։
1919-Հայաստանի նախարարների խորհուրդը որոշում է ընդունել ստեղծել Երևանի պետական համալսարանը։
1948-ծնվել է հայ բանաստեղծուհի, հրապարակախոս, հասարակական գործիչ Ռուզան Ասատրյանը։
1964-մահացել է հայ թատերագետ և գրականագետ Վահրամ Թերզիբաշյանը։
1977-մահացել է հայ լրագրող , պատմաբան Հատիկ Ազիզյանը։
1987-մահացել է հայ քիմիկոս Ալեքսանդր Հակոբյանը։
2002- ԱՄՆ-ը հրապարակել է հայկական այն ընկերության և գործարարի անունը, որոնք ընկնում են Իրանին զանգվածային ոչնչացման զենքի ստեղծման ծրագրերի իրականացմանը նպաստող սարքավորումներ եւ տեխնոլոգիաներ փոխանցած չինական, մոլդովական եւ հայկական ընկերությունների համար սահմանված պատժամիջոցների տակ: Դա «Լիզեն» բաց բաժնետիրական ընկերությունն է և Արմեն Սարգսյանը:
2005- Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովը հաստատել է հունիսի 19-ին կայանալիք խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին մասնակցության հայտ ներկայացրած 6 կուսակցությունների և մեկ կուսակցական դաշինքի ընտրացուցակները:
2006- պաշտոնապես բացվել է համակարգչային ծրագրերի եւ օպերացիոն համակարգերի արտադրության համաշխարհային առաջատար Microsoft-ի ներկայացուցչությունը Հայաստանում:
2007-մահացել է հայ օպերային հռչակավոր երգչուհի, «հայկական սոխակ» Գոհար Գասպարյանը։
2007-«Իմպիչմենտ» դաշինքի ղեկավարներից մեկը՝ «Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթի գլխավոր խմբագիր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, նստացույց է սկսել Ազատության հրապարակում` բողոքելով մայիսի 12-ի խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում թույլ տրված խախտումների դեմ:
2010- «Նուբարաշեն» քրեակատարողական հիմնարկում հանկարծամահ է եղել 1999 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 27-ին Ազգային ժողովում տեղի ունեցած դեպքերի կապակցությամբ 14 տարվա ազատազրկման դատապարտված Համլետ Ստեփանյանը
2018-դատավոր Մեսրոպ Մակյանը մերժել է Ոստիկանության ՊՊԾ գնդի գրավման մեջ մեղադրվող «Սասնա ծռեր» զինված խմբի 10 ամբաստանյալների խափանման միջոցը փոխելու և կալանքից ազատ արձակելու միջնորդությունը: Ի նշան բողոքի՝ «Սասնա ծռերի» աջակիցները փակել են Արշակունյաց պողոտան։
ԱՇԽԱՐՀ
1703-մահացել է ֆրանսիացի հեքիաթագիր, բանաստեղծ և քննադատ Շառլ Պերոն։
1717-Վոլտերը բանտարկվել է Բաստիլում` իր երգիծական ստեղծագործությունների համար։
1811-տեղի է ունեցել Իսպանական Բադախոս քաղաքի մոտ գտնվող Ալբուերա գյուղի մոտ տեղի ունեցած ճակատամարտը, որտեղ անգլիական էքսպեդիցիոն կորպուսի, Իսպանիայի և Պորտուգալիայի միացյալ ուժերը պարտության են մատնել Նապոլեոնի զորքին։
1849-Կարլ Մարքսը արտաքսվել է Գերմանիայից։
1871-Բրիտանական Կոլումբիան հայտարարվել է Կանադայի 6-րդ պրովինցիա։
Բեռլինի արվարձաններում երթուղի է դուրս եկել առաջին էլեկտրական տրամվայը։
1920-Ժանն դը Արկը կաթոլիկ եկեղեցու կողմից դասվել է սրբերի շարքը։
1924-ԽՍՀՄ-ում լույս է տեսել մանկական «Մուրզիլկա» ամսագրի առաջին համարը։
1929-Հոլիվուդում տեղի է ունեցել հետագայում «Օսկար» վերանվանված առաջին մրցանակաբաշխությունը։
1943-դաժանորեն ճնշվել է ապստամբությունը վարշավյան գետտոյում։
-գերմանական զորքերը սկսել են «Գնչուական բարոն» օպերացիան, որի նպատակն էր ոչնչացնել խորհրդային պարտիզաններին Ուկրաինայում և Բելառուսում։
1960- Թեոդոր Մեյմանևը ստեղծել և ցուցադրել է առաջին պինդ նյութային լազերը։
1967-Լենինգրադի (Սանկտ Պետերբուրգ) Կոզիցկու անվան գործարանում արտադրվել են առաջին գունավոր «Ռուբին» հեռուստացույցները։
1985-ԽՄԿԿ Կենտրոնական կոմիտեն որոշում է ընդունել ալկահոլամոլության և հարբեցողության դեմ պայքարի մասին։
1995-Հոլանդիայում ստեղծվել է 13,97 մետր թևերի բացվածքով թղթե ինքնաթիռ։
2003-տեղի է ունեցել հրեական նպատակների դեմ ահաբեկչական գործողությունների շարք Կասաբլանկայում։
