1950-ծնվել է լեզվաբան Լավրենտի Միրզոյանը;
1960-ծնվել է հայ նկարիչ Գագիկ Ղազանչյանը։
1988-Երևանում սկսվել է նստացույց ԼՂՀ-ի շրջկոմի դիմումին ընթացք տալու պահանջով։
2005- Հայաստանի վարչապետ Անդրանիկ Մարգարյանի որդին՝ 27-ամյա Տարոն Մարգարյանը, ընտրվել է Ավանի թաղապետ:
2006-Հայաստանի Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արթուր Բաղդասարյանը հրաժարականի դիմում է ներկայացրել:
2012- երեկոյան տեղացած ուժեղ կարկուտը մեծ վնաս է հասցրել Տաշիրի տարածաշրջանի Լեռնահովիտ համայնքին:
2018-որոշվել է, որ պետական բուհերն իրենց բյուջեի 2 տոկոսն այլևս չեն փոխանցելու Հայաստանի երիտասարդական հիմնադրամին:

1455-Սենտ Օլբանսի առաջին ճակատամարտով սկսվել է Կարմիր և Սպիտակ վարդերի պատերազմը։
1807-ադմիրալ Սենյավինի ղեկավարած Ռուսական Կայսրության ռազմածովային նավատորմը ջախջախել է թուրքական նավատորմին Դարդանել յան ճակատամարտում։

1879-ծնվել է ուկրաինացի ռազմական և քաղաքական գործիչ Սեմյոն Պետլ յուրան։
1885-մահացել է ֆրանսիացի գրող Վիկտոր Հյուգոն։
1892-Նյու Յորքում բժիշկ Վաշինգտոն Շեֆֆիլդը արտոնագրել է ատամի մածուկը։

1906-Ռայտ եղբայրները արտոնագրել են իրենց թռչող սարքը՝ ինքնաթիռը։
1926-Իտալիայում Մուսոլլինին արգելել է գեղեցկության մրցույթները՝ նման միջոցառումները անվանելով անբարոյական։
1950-Չինաստանի կառավարությունը Տիբեթին առաջարկել է տարածքային ինքնավարություն՝ այդ տարածքում կոմունիստական իշխանություն հաստատելու պայմանով։
1960-Հարավային Ամերիկայում տեղի է ունեցել Մեծ չիլիական երկրաշարժը։
2007-Թուրքիայի Անկարա քաղաքի պատմական կենտրոնում տեղի է ունեցել ահաբեկչական գործողություն, զոհվել է մի քանի մարդ։
2010-Հնդկաստանի Մանգալուրե տարածքում վթարվել է Բոինգ-737 ինքնաթիռը, զոհվել է 158 մարդ։
