ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արարատ Միրզոյանը մայիսի 31-ին ընդունել է Եվրոպայի խորհրդի բարձրաստիճան պատվիրակությանը, որի կազմում էին Իրավունքի գերակայության եւ մարդու իրավունքների հարցերով գլխավոր տնօրեն Քրիստոս Ջիակումոպուլոսը, Վենետիկի հանձնաժողովի քարտուղար Թոմաս Մարկերտը, Արդարադատության եւ իրավական համագործակցության վարչության ղեկավար Հաննե Յունկերը, Կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարող պետությունների խմբի (GRECO) գործադիր քարտուղար Ջիանլուկա Էսպոզիտոն, Եվրոպայի խորհրդի երեւանյան գրասենյակի ղեկավար Նատալյա Վուտովան, քաղաքական խորհրդատու Մաքսիմ Լոնգանգը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ լրատվության և հանրային կապերի վարչությունից, ողջունելով հյուրերին Ազգային ժողովում` խորհրդարանի ղեկավարը հանգամանալի ներկայացրել է Թավշյա հեղափոխությունից հետո մեր երկրում զարգացող գործընթացները, անդրադարձել տարբեր ոլորտներում, այդ թվում` ընտրական, դատական, հարկային համակարգերում իրականացվող բարեփոխումներին, այն քայլերին, որոնք ուղղված են կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարին, ժողովրդավարության հետագա գարգացմանն ու քաղաքացիական հասարակության հետագա ամրապնդմանը: Արարատ Միրզոյանը հյուրերին մանրամասնել է անցումային արդարադատության իր տեսլականը:

«Մենք կարեւորում ենք, որ տարվող բարեփոխումները կրեն ինստիտուցիոնալ բնույթ, ինչը կապահովի որդեգրած քաղաքականության շարունակականությունը»,-ասել է Արարատ Միրզոյանը:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար` Քրիստոս Ջիակումոպուլոսը նշել է, որ Հայաստան այցելության իրենց նպատակն է իշխանությունների եւ տարբեր գործընկերների հետ քննարկել այնպիսի խնդիրներ, ինչպիսիք են արդարադատության համակարգի անկախությունը, արդար դատաքննության իրավունքը, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարը, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը: Ըստ նրա՝ իրավիճակի գնահատման արդյունքներով ԵԽ տարբեր կառույցները կառաջարկեն կարճաժամկետ եւ միջնաժամկետ փորձագիտական աջակցություն, կնախանշվեն համագործակցության հետագա ուղղությունները:

Երկուստեք արձանագրվել է բարեփոխումների գործընթացներում ներառականության ապահովման, տարբեր քաղաքական ուժերի, քաղաքացիական հասարակության ակտիվ մասնակցության կարեւորությունը:

Օրենսդիր մարմնի ղեկավարը երախտագիտություն է հայտնել Եվրոպայի խորհրդի կառույցներին` ամենատարբեր ոլորտներում ցուցաբերած օժանդակության, ինչպես նաեւ՝ հետագա փոխգործակցության պատրաստակամության համար:
