Հայաստանում տեղի ունեցած հեղափոխությունը նոր լիցք և եռանդ հաղորդեց Ռուսաստանի հայ համայնքի կողմից մեր երկրում ներդրումային և ոչ ներդրումային ակտիվությանը: Այս մասին Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում «Արմենպրես»-ի թղթակցի հարցին ի պատասխան ասաց Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում ՀՀ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Վարդան Տողանյանը՝ նկատելով, իհարկե, որ նախկին 10-20 տարիներին ևս ակտիվության պակաս չի եղել: 

 «Հեղափոխությանը հաջորդած մեծ ալիքը շարունակվում է, և տարբեր մարդիկ ու կազմակերպություններ իրենց հետաքրքիր ծրագրերով ցանկանում են էլ ավելի ակտիվ ներգրավվել Հայաստանում»,- նշեց Տողանյանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ առկա մեծ ներուժը պետք է կյանքի կոչել:

Անդրադառնալով հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների ներկայիս վիճակին՝ ՀՀ դեսպանն ասաց, որ այսօր դրանք ինտենսիվորեն զարգանում են: «Այն որակը, մակարդակը, որը կա և եղել  է տարիների ընթացքում, շարունակական է: Այն երեկ չի ստեղծվել: Անկախությունից հետո այն զարգացել է բոլոր ոլորտներում՝ տնտեսական, քաղաքական, ռազմաքաղաքական և այլն, և այսօր այդ հարաբերությունները գտնվում են բավական բարձր մակարդակի վրա»,- նշեց նա: Դեսպանը որպես իր խոսքերի ապացույց նշեց Հայաստանի ու Ռուսաստանի ղեկավարության միջև մեծ ինտենսիվությամբ տեղի ունեցող հանդիպումները:

 Դիվանագետի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանի ու Ռուսաստանի միջև հարաբերությունները հատկապես պետք է ընդլայնել տնտեսական տարբեր ուղղություններով:

«Արմենպրես»-ի լրագրողի հարցին, թե ինչ նոր զարգացումներ կան գազի գնի շուրջ՝ Վարդան Տողանյանն ասաց, որ ներկա պահին խնդրի շուրջ քննարկումներ են իրականացնում աշխատանքային խմբերը: «Դեռևս վաղ է խոսել այս մասին, դա լուրջ աշխատանք է»,- նշեց ՀՀ դեսպանը:
