Դեմքի վրա մազերի աճը կարող է հետևանք լինել տղամարդու սեռական հորմոնի՝ անդրոգենի չափազանց մեծ քանակի:
3. Տարիք
Դաշտանադադարի ընթացքում կանացի էստրոգեն հորմոնը նվազում է, այդ պատճառով էլ որքան կինը տարիքն առնում է, այնքան մեծ է դեմքի մազերի աճի հավանականությունը:
