ԱՄՆ-ը չի ցանկանում պատերազմ Իրանի հետ. Պոմպեո
POLITICSԱՄՆ-ը չի ցանկանում պատերազմ Իրանի հետ՝ չնայած նրան, որ որեւէ կասկած չկա, որ Իրանը պատասխանատու է Օմանի ծոցում լցանավերի վրա հարձակումների համար: Այդ մասին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Մայք Պոմպեոն:
«Fox News Sunday»-ին տված հարցազրույցում Պոմպեոն նշել է, որ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը արել է հնարավոր ամեն ինչ պատերազմից խուսափելու համար: «Մենք պատերազմ չենք ցանկանում»: Ընդ որում՝ նա նշել է, որ Վաշինգտոնը կերաշխավորի նավագնացության համար կենսական կարեւորություն ունեցող շրջաններում ազատ տեղաշարժը: «Մենք կձեռնարկենք դիվանագիտական եւ այլ բոլոր անհրաժեշտ գործողությունները դրան հասնելու համար»:
Պոմպեոյի խոսքով՝ կասկած չկա, որ Իրանը պատասխանատու է Օմանի ծոցում լցանավերի վրա հարձակումների համար:
«Fox News Sunday»-ին տված հարցազրույցում Պոմպեոն հայտարարել է, որ դրանք Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության հարձակումներն էին կոմերցիոն փոխադրումների վրա, որոնք հետապնդում էին պարզ նպատակ՝ մերժել Հորմուզի նեղուցով անցնող տրանզիտը: Նա հավելել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի հետախուզությունն ունի բազմաթիվ տվյալներ եւ ապացույցներ, որոնք հաստատում են այդ պնդումը:
«Աշխարհը դա կտեսնի, սակայն ամերիկյան ժողովուրդը պետք է վստահ լինի, որ մենք համոզված ենք այդ հարձակումները իրագործողի ինքնության մեջ, ինչպես նաեւ նրանում, թե ով է իրագործել բազմաթիվ այլ հարձակումներն ամբողջ աշխարհում վերջին 40 օրերի ընթացքում»,-ասել է նա:
Պոմպեոն անվանել է Օմանի ծոցում տեղի ունեցած միջադեպը «միջազգային մարտահրավեր, որը կարեւոր է ամբողջ աշխարհի համար», եւ նա վստահ է, որ իրենք կունենան գործընկերներ, որոնք հասկանում են վտանգը:
«Ճապոնիան, Հարավային Կորեան, Ինդոնեզիան մեծ կախում ունեն ամենուր նավագնացության ազատությունից, եւ ես վստահ եմ, որ երբ նրանք տեսնեն վտանգը եւ Իրանի զարհուրելի վարքագիծը, կմիանան մեզ»:
Պոմպեոն չի պարզաբանել, թե ինչպիսի գործողություններ է դիտարկում ԱՄՆ-ը Իրանի դեմ, սակայն ընդգծել է, որ Իրանը չի ստանա միջուկային զենք, եւ ասել է, որ նա եւ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը պատերազմ չեն ցանկանում: «Իրանցիները պետք է հստակ հասկանան, որ մենք կշարունակենք գործողություններ ձեռնարկել, որոնք կզսպեն Իրանին այդպիսի վարքագծից»:
