 Հայաստանի և Չինաստանի միջև առկա է քաղաքական լավ համագործակցություն, դինամիկ զարգանում են հումանիտար և առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունները:

 «21-րդ դարի Մետաքսի ճանապարհ. հեռանկարներ և համագործակցություն» խորագրով միջազգային ֆորումին հայտնեց Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության դեսպանության քաղաքական խորհրդական Լո Շիսյունը: «Այսօրվա ֆորումը շատ լավ հարթակ է «Մետաքսի ճանապարհի» նախագծի գործարկման վերաբերյալ կարծիքներ փոխանակելու տեսանկյունից: Հայաստանը կարող է մասնակցել այս նախագծին նաև ԵԱՏՄ ձևաչափի շրջանակներում. ներկայումս մենք քննարկում ենք այ դ հարցը: Բացի այդ` շատ կարևոր է, որ այս նախագծի հարցում մենք պահպանում ենք թափանցիկության սկզբունքը, որը վստահության մթնոլորտ է ստեղծում այդ գործընթացում ներգրավված բոլոր երկրների միջև»,-հայտնեց նա` հավելելով, որ «Մետաքսի ճանապարհի» նախագծին հավակնում են մասնակցել Ասիայի, Եվրոպայի և Մերձավոր Արևելքի երկրները:

«21-րդ դարի Մետաքսի Ճանապարհ. հեռանկարներ և համագործակցություն» խորագրով միջազգային ֆորումի կազմակերպիչներն են ԵՊԼՀ Կոնֆուցիուսի ինստիտուտը և ՀՀ ԳԱԱ արևելագիտության ինստիտուտը:

Իր հերթին ԵՊԼՀ-ի Կոնֆուցիուսի ինստիտուտի տնօրեն Գոռ Սարգսյանը շեշտեց, որ «Մետաքսի ճանապարհի» նախագծին ցանկանում են միանալ 120 պետություն, որոնցից 60-ն արդեն շատ ակտիվ ներգրավված են այդ գործընթացում: «Հայաստանը պատմականորեն միշտ գտնվել է Մետաքսի ճանապարհի վրա: Հայաստանը կարող է ապագայում հանդիսանալ տարածաշրջանային գործընկեր ինչպես Չինաստանի, այնպես էլ այդ նախագծում արդեն իսկ ընդգրկված 60 երկրների համար: Բացի այդ` Չինաստանի կառավարությունը ստեղծել է «Մետաքսի ճանապարհի» նաÕ �ագծի ֆինանսավորման ֆոնդ, որտեղ այս պահին առկա է մոտ 40 միլիարդ դոլար»,- նկատեց նա` հավելելով, որ «Մետաքսի ճանապարհի» նախագիծը դարեր անց կրկին դառնում է մրցակցային կոնցեպտ:
