Բյուրականի 6-րդ գիտաճամբարը աստղադիտարանի և ‹‹Ստեփան Գիշյան›› բարեգործական հիմնադրամի 2018-ին համատեղ մեկնարկած ծրագրերից մեկն է միայն: Գիտաճամբարի մասնակիցները Հայաստանի տարբեր դպրոցներից ժամանած երեխաներն են: Աստղադիտարանը 2018-ին «Ստեփան Գիշյան» բարեգործական
հիմնադրամի կողմից հայտարարված դրամաշնորհային ծրագրի հաղթողներից մեկն է, համատեղ ծրագրի շրջանակում բացի աստղադիտարանում անցկացվող 6-րդ գիտական դպրոցից, նաև վերանորոգվել ու կահավորվել է ուսումնական լսարան, աստղադիտարանը համալրվել է նոր թվայնացված աստղադիտակով։

‹‹Նախկինում դասախոսություններն անց են կացվել Վիկտոր Համբարձումյանի աշխատասենյակում, որը տարածքով ավելի փոքր էր և այդքան էլ հարմար չէր: Իսկ այստեղ մոտ հիսուն մարդ է տեղավորվում: Գաղափարը շատ հետաքրքիր էր, քանի որ 2017 թվականից նրանք սկսել են այդ ծրագիրը՝ գիտական տուրիզմի հետ կապված, և
ամեն ինչ անում էին, տարբեր քայլեր էին ձեռնարկում, որպեսզի այդ ճյուղը զարգանա Հայաստանում, մասնավորապես՝ աստղագիտական ոլորտում››,-իր խոսքում նշել է ‹‹Ստեփան Գիշյան›› բարեգործական հիմնադրամի տնօրեն Աննա Գիշյանը:

‹‹Գիտաճամբարի ծրագիրն, իհարկե, շատ բազմազան է: Այստեղ միայն աստղագիտական
դասախոսություններ չեն, թեկուզ գիտության այլ ոլորտներից, այլ, օրինակ, բազմաթիվ հետաքրքիր խաղեր, ինտելեկտուալ խաղեր շատ կան, հագեցված են դրանով: Կազմակերպում ենք այցելություններ, էքսկուրսիաներ ոչ միայն աստղատանը, այլև տանում ենք շրջակա մոտիկ տեսարժան վայրերն ենք ցույց տալիս››,- իր խոսքում նշել է
Վիկտոր Համբարձումյանի անվան Բյուրականի աստղադիտարանի տնօրեն Արեգ Միքայելյանը:

«Ստեփան Գիշյան» բարեգործական հիմնադրամը ստեղծվել է 2015 թվականին` ԱԿԲԱ-ԿՐԵԴԻՏ ԱԳՐԻԿՈԼ Բանկի, ֆրանսիական Կրեդիտ Ագրիկոլի, Կրեդիտ Ագրիկոլ Ազգային Ֆեդերացիայի և Գիշյան ընտանիքի կողմից:
