Լազերային էպիլյացիան ընդմիշտ կազատի անցանկալի մազերից: Դրա սկզբունքը հիմնված է մազային սոխուկի ոչնչացման վրա: Ընդ որում, պրոցեդուրան ենթադրում է մի քանի սեանսի անցկացում եւ բավականին շատ ժամանակ է խլում: Լազերային էպիլյացիա ընտրելուց առաջ, խորհուրդ է տրվում դիմացկունության թեստ անցնել մաշկին վնաս չտալու համար: 

Ֆոտոէպիլյացիան մազերն ընդմիշտ հեռացնելու եւս մեկ պրոֆեսիոնալ մեթոդ է: Մազային ֆոլիկուլը ոչնչացվում է բարձր ջերմաստիճանի ազդեցությամբ: Այս միջոցի թերությունն այն է, որ պրոցեդուրայից հետո մաշկի վրա կարող են փոքրիկ սպիներ մնալ: Բացի այդ, ֆոտոէպիլյացիայից հետո 7 օրվա ընթացքում չի կարելի արեւի տակ մնալ: 

Էպիլյացիա տաք մոմով. բավականին արդյունավետ, բայց միեւնույն ժամանակ ցավոտ մեթոդ է: Այն թույլ է տալիս մի քանի շաբաթով մոռանալ մազերի մասին: Սակայն դրա համար պետք կլինի ցավին դիմանալ: Դրանից բացի,  այդ պրոցեդուրայից հետո կարող է մաշկի գրգռվածություն եւ նույնիսկ բորբոքում առաջանալ: Խորհուրդ չի տրվում զգայուն մաշկ ունեցողներին: 

Տնային պայմաններում.

Կարելի է օգտագործել ունելի, դեպիլյացիայի կրեմ, էպիլյատոր:  

Ունելին տանը մազահեռացման ամենատարածված միջոցն է: Մեթոդի առավելությունը  արագ եւ էժան լինելն է: Բայց թերություններ էլ ունի. ոտքերը երկար ժամանակ ողորկ չեն մնա. հենց հաջորդ օրը «խոզանակ» կառաջանա: Հետո էլ` ունելու, որպես գլխավոր միջոցի օգտագործումը գրգռում է մաշկը (հատկապես բիկինիի մասում), իսկ աճող մազերը սկսում են կոշտ եւ կոպիտ լինել: 

Դեպիլյացիայի կրեմների գլխավոր արժանիքն այն է, որ ցավ չեն պատճառում: Սակայն արդյունավետության առումով կարող են հիասթափեցնել, հատկապես եթե քո մազերն ի բնե մուգ են եւ հաստ: Քանի որ կրեմների կազմի մեջ (ինչպես թանկ, այնպես էլ` էժան) քիմիական նյութեր են մտնում, որոնք ազդում են մազերի կառուցվածքի վրա, հնարավոր են ալերգիկ հակազդեցություններ:  

Էպիլյատորը հավանաբար էպիլյացիայի միակ մեթոդն է, որը թույլ է տալիս ազատվել անցանկալի բուսականությունից խնամքով, արագ, արդյունավետորեն եւ այժմ նաեւ` առանց ցավոտ զգացողությունների:
