Բնական լոգարանային սպունգը ստանում են նույնանուն ծովային կենդանուց:
Իրականում այնքան էլ այդպես չէ:
Ներկայումս բնական լոգարանային սպունգ ստանում են բույսերից: Հենց սկզբից ասենք, որ բնական սպունգներից զատ՝ արհեստականները բազմաթիվ են և բազմատեսակ, քանի որ, բացի լոգարանից, սպունգը օգտագործվում է երևի թե ամեն տեղ և ամեն բնագավառում:
Ծովային սպունգները բազմաբջիջ ծովային կենդանիներ են, որոնք ապրում են ծովի հատակին անշարժ կպած, տարածված են ամենուր: Նրանք չունեն օրգաններ և հյուսվածքներ, դրանց ֆունկցիան կատարում են առանձին բջիջները: Սնուցումը իրականացվում է նրանց սպունգանման մարմնի միջով՝ ջրի ֆիլտացիայով, որտեղ որոշակի բջիջներ որսում են օրգանական նյութերը:
Սպունգների մարմինը սովորաբար պինդ է կապված ներսում առկա կալցիումի և սիլիցիումի միացությունների հետ, բայց կա նրանց երկու տեսակ, որոնց մարդիկ հնուց օգտագործել են. սրանք փափուկ են: Այս փափուկ սպունգները օգտագործվել են որպես սաղավարտի տակդիր, ջրի տեղափոխման անոթ, ջրի ֆիլտր և, իհարկե, որպես լոգարանային սպունգ:
Ներկայումս այս ծովային սպունգները ևս օգտագործվում են, բայց միայն բժշկական նշանակության առումով:
Ներկայումս որպես բնական լոգարանային սպունգ օգտագործվում են բույսերից ստացված սպունգները: Ամենաշատ օգտագործվողներն են լ յուֆա բույսից ստացվող սպունգները: Սա տարբեր անուններ ունի. կոչվում է կուշ, լ յուֆա, վիետնամական դդում, չինական բամիա: Դդմազգիների ընտանիքի Luffa ցեղին պատկանող միամյա մշակաբույս է։ Կան բազմաթիվ տեսակներ:
Ունի երկար վեգետացիոն շրջան։ Ցողունները բավականին երկար են և մագլցող, ինչի պատճառով մշակությունը կատարվում է հենակային համակարգի օգնությամբ։ Տերևները կլոր-սրտաձև են, մուգ կանաչ գույնի, ծաղիկները դեղին են:
Պտուղները երկար են ու բարակ, 10-65 սմ, փխրուն և նուրբ բուրմունքով։ Թարմ պտուղները ուտում են ինչպես հում վիճակում, այնպես էլ օգտագործում են տարբեր կերակրատեսակների պատրաստման մեջ կամ պահածոյացնում են։ Հասուն պտուղների պտղամիսը թելոտ է, ամուր. այդ տեսակի պտուղները սննդի օգտագործման մեջ պիտանի չեն։
Պտղի ներսը ցանցանման է, պտղացանցն օգտագործվում է բժշկության մեջ։ Հասուն պտուղը վերամշակելուց հետո օգտագործում են որպես սպունգ՝ լողանալու համար:
Լյուֆայի հայրենիքը համարվում է Հնդկաստանը, որտեղից երկու հազար տարի առաջ տեղափոխվել է Չինաստան։ Կուշը ջերմասեր ու խոնավասեր բուսատեսակ է: Բազմանում է սերմերով։ Լավ բերք ստացվում է այն հողերում, որտեղ ստորգետնյա ջրերը բարձր են։
Պարզվում է՝ լ յուֆա աճեցնելը բարդ չէ, այն հեշտությամբ աճում է նաև մեզ մոտ: Հնարավոր է, որ անգամ այն իրոք որոշ մարդիկ աճեցնում են, քանի որ խիստ նման է վարունգին, իսկ վերջին ժամանակներս, ի տարբերություն խորհրդային տարիների, նկատվում են վարունգի տարբեր տեսակներ:
Չգիտեմ՝ այդ աճեցնողները գիտեն արդյոք, որ բույսի գերհասունացած «վարունգներից» կարելի է հեշտությամբ լոգարանային բնական սպունգ ստանալ
