Ինչպես արդեն գիտենք լատինաամերիկյան սերիալներից, հարուստներն էլ են լաց լինում։ Ապահովված մարդիկ էլ գործնականում նույն հոգսերն ունեն, ինչ՝ հասարակ քաղաքացիները։ Նրանք նույնպես սիրում են, տառապում, հուզվում․․․

 

Հոնկոնգցի միլիոնատեր Սեսիլ Չաոն հոգ է տանում ընտանիքի բոլոր անդամներին և նրանց երջանկություն ցանկանում։ Նա երազում է խնամել թոռներին և մեծացնել ժառանգներին։ Այնուհանդերձ նրա դուստրը՝ 37-ամյա Ջիջին, բոլորովին չի շտապում ամուսնանալ։

 

Հինգ տարի առաջ Սեսիլն առաջին անգամ պոտենցիալ փեսացուներին շահագրգռելու հուսահատ փորձ արեց։ Նա խոստացավ 60 միլիոն դոլար տալ այն տղամարդուն, ով իրեն կսիրահարեցնի Ջիջիին և կամուսնանա հետը։

 

Հակառակ նման հարուստ օժիտին՝ միլիարդատիրոջ փեսացու դառնալ ցանկացող էդպես էլ չհայտնվեց։ Այդ ժամանակ Սեսիլ Չաոն եռապատկեց պարգևավճարը և խոստացավ դստեր փեսացուին վճարել 180 000 000 դոլար:

 

Սակայն այս առաջարկն էլ պահանջարկ չվայելեց։ Ջիջին վճռականորեն մերժում էր բոլոր երկրպագուներին։ Բանն այն է, որ նրան դուր են գալիս կանայք, ոչ թե՝ տղամարդիկ․․․

Ավելին, դուստրն արդեն հանդիպել է իր կեսին․ Ջիջիի ընկերուհին՝ Շոն Իվը։ «Որպես քո դուստր շատ կուզեի քեզ երջանկացնել։ Ցավոք իմ մասին պատկերացումներդ իրականությանը չեն համապատասխանում»,- իր դիրքորոշումը հորը բացատրել է աղջիկը։

 

Հորը մնում է մխիթարվել սոսկ նրանով, որ դստեր ընտրյալն արտաքինից շատ նման է տղամարդու։ Այո-այո, ակնոցով ու թիթեռնիկով այս մարդն էլ հենց Շոն Իվն է։
