Ներգաղթյալների մասին օրենքում սկանդալային փոփոխություններն ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփին սպառնում են հերթական ձգձգված դատական գործընթացներով: ԱՄՆ 13 նահանգ դատի է տվել նախագահին նրա տնտեսական սեգրեգացիայի քաղաքականության պատճառով
Փաստաբանական ճակատը ղեկավարում է Վաշինգտոն նահանգի գլխավոր դատախազ Բոբ Ֆերգյուսոնը: Նրան աջակցում է նահանգապետ Ջեյ Ինսլին, որը պայքարում է նախագահական աթոռի համար: Դատական հայցի լրացման համար Ֆերգյուսոնից պահանջվել է 170 էջ, հաղորդում է Vesti-ն՝ հղում անելով The Hill-ին:
Սակայն գլխավոր մեղադրանքն այն է, որ Թրամփն ու նրա վարչակազմը գիտակցաբար առաջ են տանում միգրացիոն քաղաքականության այնպիսի փոփոխություններ, որոնցով հնարավորություն են ԱՄՆ մեկնել այլ եկրների միայն լավ ապահովված քաղաքացիները:
The Wall Street Journal պարբերականն ավելի վաղ հայտնել է, որ «թրամփյան» փոփոխությունները ենթադրում են գրին քարտի չեղարկում: Փաստացի դա կարող է նշանակել, որ ներգաղթյալների ճնշող մասը, որոնք ԱՄՆ-ում ձգտում են գոյատեւման միջոցներ փնտրել, կհայտնվեն արտաքսման շեմին:
«Եթե դու հարուստ ես, ապա բարի գալուստ, իսկ եթե աղքատ ես՝ ոչ: Այդ կանոնը հակաամերիկյան է, հակամիգրանտային եւ անօրինական»,- ասում է Ֆերգյուսոնը: Իսկ Ջեյ Ինսլին Թրամփի վարչակազմի քաղաքականությունը քսենոֆոբիա է անվանում եւ հայտարարում, որ Վաշինգտոն նահանգը չի ենթարկվի Սպիտակ տան հրամաններին:
Առաջին հայցը նախօրեին ներկայացրել է Վիրջինիա նահանգի գլխավոր դատախազ Մարկ Հերրինգը: Նրան հետեւել են հայցեր Կոլորադոյից, Դելավերից, Իլինոյսից, Մերիլենդից, Մասաչուսեթսից, Միչիգանից, Մինեսոտայից, Նեւադայից, Նյու Ջերսիից, Նյու Մեքսիկոյից եւ Ռոդ Այլենդից:
Թրամփի վարչակազմը մեկնաբանել է միգրացիոն քաղաքականության փոփոխությունների անհրաժեշտությունը ներգաղթյալների հանդեպ խնամքով: Այդուհանդերձ, այդ փոփոխությունները բազմաթիվ քննադատությունների առիթ են հանդիսանում Թրամփի քաղաքական հակառակորդների շրջանում, որոնք փորձում են ամեն կերպ թուլացնել նրա դիրքերը:
