Լոնդոնի հասարակական հետազոտությունների կենտրոններից մեկում գիտնականները բացահայտել են, որ ինքնասպանության փորձի դիմածների մեծ մասը ծնվել են ապրիլ և մայիս ամիսներին։ Նման վիճակագրության շնորհիվ գիտնականները բացահայտել են, որ կենդանակերպի այս երկու նշանները գտնվում են ռիսկայնության խմբի մեջ, և ինքնասպանություն գործելու հավանականությունը 17 տոկոսից բարձր է։ «Գարնանային» ինքնասպանների 14 տոկոսը ավելի շատ կանայնք են, քան տղամարդիկ։
