«Դեռևս 2018թ. սեպտեմբերին անդրադարձել եմ այս խնդրին:
Ամուլսարի ոսկու հանքավայրը Հայաստանում ոսկու խոշոր հանքերից միակն է, որը գտնվում է՝
- Հայաստանի կենտրոնական հատվածում (մյուս խոշոր հանքավայրերը գտնվում են սահմանամերձ տարածքներում),
- Հայաստանի երկու խոշոր գետերի՝ Արփա և Որոտան գետերի, ակունքային գոտում (Արփա-Սևան թունելի միջոցով ջուրը տեղափոխվում է նաև Սևանա լիճ),
- Հայաստանի կարևորագույն հիդրոէներգետիկ կառույցներից մեկի՝ Որոտանի հիդրոէլեկտրակայանների համակարգի մասը կազմող Սպանդարյան-Կեչուտ ջրատար թունելի վրա:
Ամուլսարի դեպքում պետք է գիտակցենք, որ Հայաստանի ԿԵՆՏՐՈՆԱԿԱՆ ՀԱՏՎԱԾՈՒՄ՝ երկրի սրտում, գտնվող հանքավայրի շահագործման արդյունքում բնապահպանների կողմից կանխատեսվող ռիսկերի իրական լինելու դեպքում, անդառնալի բացասական հետևանքներն ավելի մեծ վնաս են հասցնելու մեր երկրին, այդ թվում՝ ջրային ռեսուրսներին:
