Ալեւից պետք է ոչ թե գթասրտություն խնդրել, այլ պահանջել ազատ արձակել քաղբանտարկյալներին

Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւից պետք է ոչ թե գթասրտություն խնդրելքաղբանտարկյալների համար, այլ պահանջել նրանց ազատ արձակել բանտերից առանց որեւէ նախապայմանի եւ անմիջապես:
Այս մասին,մեկնաբանելով Ադրբեջանում բռնաճնշումների իրավիճակը, հայտնում է ամերիկյան հեղինակավոր The Washington Post թերթն իր «Ադրբեջանում շարունակվում են բռնությունները մարդու իրավունքների ակտիվիստների դեմ» հոդվածում:
Թերթը հիշատակել է իրավապաշտպաններ Լեյլա եւ Արիֆ Յունուսների եւ Ադրբեջանում ձերբակալված բազմաթիվ հասարակական ակտիվիստների, քաղաքական գործիչների, լրագրողների եւ բլոգերների նկատմամբ կալանավայրերում խոշտանգումների մասին:
«Այս ձերբակալությունները Ալիեւի եւ նրա շրջապատի կողմից իրենց քննադատների դեմ աններելի վերաբերմունքի ցուցանիշ են», -նշել է թերթը:
Հղում կատարելով Amnesty International միջազգային իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությանը` թերթը նշել է, որ Ադրբեջանում մինչեւ 100 քաղաքական բանտարկյալ եւ նվազագույնը 20 խղճի բանտարկյալ կան:
«Երկար ժամանակ Ալիեւն արհամարհում է մարդու իրավունքների ոտնահարումներին վերջ դնելու մասին արտասահմանի պահանջները: Այս ընթացքում նրա զինակիցները նոյեմբերի 1-ին անցկացված անազատ եւ անարդար ընտրությունների միջոցով «վերեւների» որոշումները «կնքելու» ֆունկցիան կատարելու համար տեղեր շահեցին խորհրդարանում: Եվրոպայի Խորհրդի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի դիտորդական առաքելության երեք անդամ այդ ընտրությունների հետ կապված հայտարարեցին, որ Ադրբեջանում քաղաքական ազատությունների նկատմամ առկա վերաբերմունքը, այդ թվում արտահայտվե լու եւ մամուլի ազատության, ազատ հավաքվելու եւ միավորվելու ազատությունների վիճակը թույլ չի տալիս ազատ եւ ժողովրդավարական ընտրություններ անցկացնել այդ երկրում: Քաղբանտարկյալներին ազատ արձակելու համար ոչ ոք չպետք է Ալիեւից գթասրտություն խնդրի: Պետք է նրանից պահանջվի անմիջապես ազատ արձակել բոլոր քաղբանտարկյալներին», -գրել է թերթը:
