Սեպտեմբերի 8-ը Լրագրողների համերաշխության միջազգային օրն է
SOCIETYԼրագրողների համերաշխության միջազգային օրը (International Day of Journalists' Solidarity), որ ամեն տարի նշվում է սեպտեմբերի 8-ին, հիմնադրվել է 1958թ․՝ Բուխարեստում, Լրագրողների միջազգային կազմակերպության 4-րդ համագումարի կողմից։ Համագումարի պատվիրակների ծրագրով այդ օրը բոլոր երկրների լրագրողները եւ հրատարակչությունները պետք է ի ցույց դնեն աշխարհին իրենց համախմբվածությունը, հատկապես իրենց իրավունքների պաշտպանության գործում, հայտնում է Calend-ը։
Այս օրվա ընտրության հիմքում ողբերգական իրադարձություններ են ընկած։ 1943թ․ սեպտեմբերի 8-ին Գերմանիայում մահապատժի է ենթարկվել չեխոսլովակյան լրագրող, հակաֆաշիստ գրող Յուլիուս Ֆուչիկը։ Նա քաղաքականությամբ սկսել էր հետաքրքրվել դեռեւս երիտասարդ տարիներին, եւ 1921թ․ դարձել էր Չեխոսլովակիայի կոմունիստական կուսակցուիթյան հիմնադիրներից մեկը։ 1941թ․ Ֆուչիկը դարձել էր ազատագրական շարժման անդամ։ 1942թ․ ապրիլի 24-ին նա շարժման վեց այլ անդամների հետ ձերբակալվել էր գեստապոյի կողմից։
Յուլիուս Ֆուչիկն աշխարհին հայտնի է Պրահայի բանտում գրած «Թղթակցություն վզին անցկացված օղակով» գրքով։ Նրա մահվանից հետո գիրքը թարգմանվել է աշխարհի 70 լեզուներով, իսկ սկսած 1958 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 8-ից՝ նրա մահվան օրվանից սկսել է նշվել Լրագրողների համերաշխության օրը։
Լրագրողների համերաշխության օրը ամբողջ աշխարհում անցկացվում են համաժողովներ, համագումարներ, որոնց մասնակցում են տարբեր երկրներից լրագրողներ։ Այդ տոնական համաժողովներին նրանք ոչ միայն փոխանակում են միմյանց հետ իրենց փորձը, այլեւ պարգեւներ են ստանում իրենց երբեմն բավական վտանգավոր աշխատանքի համար։
